"Was that wrong?" ;)

Yesterday evening, after I got home with my Thai food take-out, I turned on the TV for no reason in particular and started flipping through the channels. A moment later - "Hey look, Last Crusade is just starting. I never watch movies I own when they're broadcast with commercials, so I'll just watch until the first one and then change the channel"

I don't watch much TV, I never watch Bravo, I've seen Last Crusade more times than can be counted, and my DVD was on the shelf ten feet away.

I was weak...I watched it two times in a row  - and - I didn't even get up between the two. In my defense, they split-screened the end titles of the first with the opening titles of the second. It wasn't a total loss though. During the commercials I used my tablet to look up the Latin spelling of Jehovah.

Never underestimate the power of the ....... couch!

The commercials are bad enough. Breaking up the flow is worse. But the real killer for me is when they start with 'Edited for Television"!
