Nice find, especially the Young Indy bits. He seems like a real down-to-earth guy too. It's refreshing to see an actor Q&A that's actually entertaining where they're not completely full of themselves. Hopefully he'll keep up the convention circuit - seems like he enjoys it!

And yes - he is also talking also about Indy days.:)
Not much talk about Young Indy but it's ALWAYS a pleasure to him speak about it. The session was very funny. I really liked when he talked about stopping at a red, traffic light and then "a douchebag" pulls up in a car beside him listening to one of his favourite songs. That was hysterical!

Thanks a lot for posting the links, T.E.!:hat: Though I didn't care for his music very much. I never knew that he released a CD (apparently it was only in Japan).

Excellent, Dr. Dew! What perfect timing. Hope you get a chance to talk to The Flan Man.:)

No probs Stoo. Always great to read you. There will be more similar material - just have to catch some time to edit the files.

Boondock Saints QA MovieDays Sep.05.2010 Part 1
From 02:28 he is answering about Young Indy. It was so nice to hear him confirming once more that Indy role was the best job for him ever.

Also he is speaking on actor Friedrich von Thun (Albert Schweitzer from Young Indy-he also played role in Schindler's list) on 08:00 min.

And here also:

Boondock Saints Q A Part 2
from 03:45min he is recollecting German lines from Young Indy.
From 06:40min - Question about George Lucas and special effects in Young Indy and applying them to Star Wars. I love how he immediately becomes serious when he is answering that question. It is so visible that he is holding series in highest regards. He is speaking also about dawn era of digital replication effects.

There will be more material to come.
Stay tuned.

Interesting that he still remembers the German dialogue! The context of the second quote ('madchen sehr schon') is from Tales of Innocence when Indy is describing Giulietta to the defecting German soldiers. Anyone know or want to guess where the first quote is from??? I can't quite place it in the episodes...

Next time though Stoo, you might be better PMing me if you wish to make that kind of request. It's just courtesy.
Hmm...with all due respect, it's never worked that way in the past before...

It must be from the "Verdun" episode where Indy is proving to his officers that he can speak German. Love how the audience reacts.

T.E. Lawrence: Thanks for posting those links.:hat:

MDew: Congratulations on the autograph. (No details to report?)

Today's News: Our Take - Exclusive: Sean Patrick Flanery Joins The Young and the Restless

Updated 10:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2011

How cool is this? Actor Sean Patrick Flanery, known for TV hits ranging from The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles to The Dead Zone and that forever fab flick Powder, is heading to the CBS soap The Young and the Restless. He hits the air mid-April. In a nice switch-up, Flanery won't be playing yet another rich, Genoa City power-schemer but rather a salt o' the earth country veterinarian named Sam (no last name yet). He will be paired with longtime Y&R star Sharon Case (Sharon). Exec producer Maria Bell gave TV Guide Magazine all the juicy deets, so look for 'em in the March 21 issue, on sale next week!
