Our son, Indiana Jones (first and middle) was born May 31st right before breakfast in San Diego...
After 12 hours of a seemingly normal delivery the adventure began. A flatline heart monitor delivered a last second C-section birth taking everyone completely by surprise. Mom was in the O.R. moments later. Dad waited outside with no news for about 10 minutes (lousy cliffhanger for real). With cords wrapped around his neck, Indy looked like he got tangled in his whip, ha (truly a bad joke only now that he's OK).
Horrifying and then beautiful. We are lucky and very grateful to have him.
Thought you guys could appreciate that. Apologies for the long winded version.
Best,
-CJ
