Indy Trivia XXX

In Pirates of the Carribean II, Pintel and Ragetti confront Elizabeth for possession of The Dead Man's
Chest and her response pays homage to what scene in what film from what Blockbuster Tetralogy?

Pirates back to Indy Trivia

While Jack, Will and the former Commander Norrington vie for the key to The Dead Man's Chest and Elizabeth finally gives up her vain attempt to grab their attention, Pintel and Ragetti do the "decent" thing and remove temptation from their path.

As they run off with the chest giggling, Elizabeth steps in front Pintel & Ragetti who drop the chest, and pull their swords.

Elizabeth responds by reaching for her sword, only to discover it's gone. As quickly as they revert to enemies they join forces again as Davy Jones' crew comes crashing through the forest after them. While Hans Zimmer does fine work the only thing missing from this Raiders/Temple homage is some John Williams music and Keira cracking the whip!

Indy Trivia XXXI

A passing presence in all but Last Crusade and Crystal Skull, Indy's chauffeurs wore NY Yankee hats, Jock and Short Round. The back story to a character in Crystal Skull, barely touched upon in the film but fleshed out in the book, was inspired by Pete Rose. Who and How?

Ranked at number 25 on The Sporting News' list of the 100 Greatest
Baseball Players Pete Rose, AKA "Charlie Hustle" was kicked out of
baseball for gambling on games while playing for and managing the
Cincinnati Reds. After years of public denial, he admitted to betting
on, but not against, the Reds (there has never been any evidence that
he ever bet against his teams).

Mutt Williams AKA Henry Jones III's inspired tale of being thrown out
of "lot's of schools" is matter of factly offered in Crystal Skull,
while Mutt's disqualification from a fencing tournament because he was
discovered gambling on himself to win can be found in various print
media including Luceno's Ultimate Guide.

As Gene Shalit said back in '77, "Harrison Ford, the only man named after 2 presidents".

Pretty much every clue was a dead give-away. The only 2 that had me scratching my head was the Hillary clue and the Doors clue. (When the heck was he a stagehand for The Doors? 1968? Must have been some gig in L.A. somewhere...)

Thinking about the Vietnam clue now...I just realized the # of American male actors in all 4 films is very small.

The game is Call of Duty. And the reference is a revolving fireplace that reveals a secret nazi room like in Last Crusade.

Yes a Nazi Radio room!

There is another part of the game that takes from Last Crusade as well...

the films, however one character won't drink water because it's where
fish copulate. Who has such haughty convictions and in which film is

That's an easy one.
It was Marcus Brody and he said it in Last Crusade.

Hah!
After you said it was wrong, I was wracking my brain trying to remember for a 100% fact if it was indeed Marcus who said it. So, I went and checked IMDB to see if I was right.

Indy Trivia XXXVII

Indy tells his Marshall College students "to be a good archaeologist you have to get out of the library." Where does Indy gives the breakdown of time required in the library and how much time remains for field work.
