Are there any Raveners out there who live in Canada? I'll be visiting your lovely country in January, and I can't wait!!! *big grin*

(yes, you're right, there's no real reason for this thread - except to say I'm very very excited! woo-hoo!)

Hey, Coronado, I'm in Montreal. Where in The Great White North
will you be visiting?

Right on, LastCrusader, whereabouts? I live downtown but grew up in
Pierrefonds and Dollard-des-Ormeaux.

Coronado, I highly recommend a stop in Montreal - 2nd to N.Y.C. as
Party Capital of North America.:)

Well I grew up on the east side of the city in Ville D'Anjou but I lived downtown for 4 years before I moved to Ottawa.

I live in the Canadian praries...that's right! the armpit of Canada. So if you are visiting this area don't be suprised to find a buch of nothing. The best part of it is that if your dog runs away you can still see him running the next day..we are that flat.
I'd reccomend the East Coast, Quebec or BC.

I'm sure you'll have a good time. There are plenty of great restaurants
and places to shop but, if you have the chance, try and check out:

1) Glass floor on the observation deck of the CN Tower.
2) Sidewalk "steamie". Really just a hot dog but delicious nonetheless...
3) Silver Snail - 367 Queen St. West (1 block East of Spadina Ave.)
Sci-fi movie memorobilia emporium - with some Indiana Jones stuff.
