Mt. Franklin, Mt. Monroe and Mt. Washington. I was fortunate enough to hike these mountain yesterday. Near the end I could barely lift my legs and my eyes were bleeding. Well, not really, but it was pretty tough for me. Here's some scenery. The rest of the pictures and descriptions are here.
Below is the summit of the highest mountain in New Hampshire.
For the record, there is a Mt. Jefferson, Mt. Pierce, etc. in the Presidental Range. I have not seen a Mt. Nixon yet, but there is a Mt. Clinton. It has a spring that dribbles into the mouth of Lewinsky gorge. I made that part up, but there is a Mt. Clinton. In fact to get to the mountains, one takes Mt. Clinton Road to the Edmunds trail.
