I must say am I really looking forward to this. Mann's last film that I saw (Collateral) I thought was top notch, looks to be of the same caliber of talent and style.

Its great that a movie like this can come out in a summer filled w/ giant robots, super soldiers, and mutants.

I love how Mann has kept his own distinctive, contemporary approach and resisted the urge to go 'classical' for a '30's milieu...

This teaser - and the first one-sheet - suggests that Bale is very much the second fiddle here. That may not prove to be the case...

i have a feeling there'll be some stuff about Bale's Purvis tracking down baby face nelson and pretty boy floyd. Depp acknowledges Bale has the guy who killed Floyd in the trailer. but yeah it seems to be a movie about Dillinger.

Yay! Or! Nay!

It?s a really good movie. The three leads are all solid and the story and action are both well balanced. Fans of Mann, Depp and Bale should all be pleased when this rolls out this summer.

I saw Public Enemies tonight, and it seemed like I was the only one
who wouldn't lay down and suck some Mann balls.
