Sideshow KOTCS Indy Premium Format Figure!

Yikes. That might be one of the worst facial sculpts ever. He looks like a neanderthal. The Medicom version with a good paint-over is lightyears better.

Meh I think I'm the only one that does not like the Medicom KOTCS Indy without it being repainted it looks like hell right out of the box.



I really do like the sculpt of this one and I like how he is wearing his hat and how he is standing. Now if I can just get the money!



Woah I just noticed something Orellana's mask is on the same kind of stand that the dvd exclusive crystal skull is on............. Hmmmmmmmm

Man, you know I love you like a brother but the Medicom KOTCS indy's sculpt looks EXACTLY like him...EVERY little detail is there....granted the touch-ups are only making him better but the likeness is uncanny.

Oh, I got the KOTCS PF figure I forgot to add my name to the list.

For those of you who think the sculpt is "terrible", yeah, you're crazy. It's amazing how a mediocre paint job could ruin a beautiful sculpt. Look at it:

I have to say, I'm not very happy with the painted prototype of this PF figure but what the heck..I gotta have it...I still have these babies to mess with

I agree..the sculpt is DEAD-ON..PERFECTION!!! However, sideshow just can't get past their paint problems on flesh colored faces....aliens and non-humans or armor..FANTASTIC.

mfisher is sooo right about Hot toys. sideshow needs to pay attention to the market.

Maybe the pics don't do it justice Tnswman but to me the KOTCS Indy doesn't really look like him however that hanger 51 Indy you did looks just like harrison it's perfect. That's how the figures should look.





Did you preorder the regular one or the exclusive? I'm probally going to be ordering one soon I can't wait for sideshow to release more pics.

Don't wait too long if you want the exclusive version - they almost always sell out... I ordered the exclusive version (I'd go nuts knowing the Mask existed and not having it)

LOL! Les, we are sick man, I wanted it more for the mask than the figure since I'm kinda bummed about the paint job shown..however, if I read it right it is now sold out.

I just spent a week worth of watching KOTCS every night ( twice on tuesday LOL! ) and I am soooo in love with anything KOTCS still....I hope we see more KOTCS focus from sideshow.

I wish sideshow would release the dang mask without the figure!!!!!! WHY do they do this

I think Doc Whiskey and tnswman are talking about two different products

The Premium Format figure sculpt is the one Doc Whiskey posted and tnswman is talking about the KotCS action figure Sideshow is distributing for Mediacom. The Orellana mask comes with the Premium Format figure, which is basically a statue if it's like the Raiders Premium Format.

It kills me when I order the Sideshow w/ exclusive for 284.00 and then see the regular edition for 247.00... plus I could have ordered it from my comic shop which is a Sideshow Collectibles reseller and thrown some money his way... all for a mask! Sometimes I think I stared into the eyes of the Crystal Skull too long!

Well at least your going to get the mask but do me one favor take lots and lots of pics!



Also do you know where to find the gentle giant desk set I have been looking for ages at comic book shops and no luck

I will agree that the sculpt looks much better without that terrible paint app, but it still isn't perfect. They've basically made all of his facial features slightly too large, and as a result it makes the eyes look beady. The Raiders PF figure was much better.

Oh but the edition size is worth it too....I LOVE those Indy exclusives. I think the mask is one of the coolest props they could have included.

I kind of see how the features look exagerated in the prototype painted figure but not the sculpt itself....It looks pretty dead on...The size of it will be a slight throw off. and yes, The only comparing that we were doing was this face sculpt v.s. the Medicom KOTCS Indy sculpt. Two totally different things though.
