French "Translation" of Raiders?

I just got a copy of a 2008 book published by Hachette Livre titled Indiana Jones: Les Aventuriers de l'Arche Perdue. The copyright page says "Traduit de l'anglais par Jerome Jacobs." If I'm understanding that correctly, it's saying that this book was translated from English by Jacobs. However, I can't find anything anywhere in the book that says what this is a translation of. Is it a translation of Ryder Windham's young adult adaptation Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark? Or am I misunderstanding that French line and this book is an original adaptation by Jacobs?

You are translating the French sentence correctly. It says that it is a translation of an English book.

My guess would be that it is a translation of the Campbell Black novel.

Edit: After having looked up yours, I am as sure, as it is noted to have 152 pages and the Campell Black novel has 180. But the difference could be a result of typeset, page size and abridgement.
