Everyone knows that Tom Selleck was the first choice to play Indiana Jones, but because of MAGNUM P.I. he couldn't do it. But -- according to one Spielberg biographer -- what is NOT widely known was that Lucas & Spielberg had actually decided to use Selleck AFTER testing Harrison Ford several times. Unfortunately for the filmmakers, Ford eventually found out this information -- and was justifiably furious.
