true indy fan! new tattoo

hey guys and gals. i have been a lurker on these forums for a while i didnt figure on posting anything til i had something interesting to share. I got my first tattoo last week. here is a pic of it right after i got it done so it looks funny because of the ointment thats on it and it was still bleeding a little. i wanted a indy tattoo for years but i didn't want to actaully say indiana jones. let me know what you think. And what i am really saying is tell me it looks cool cause its not like i can do anything about it ha ha ha :D .

The compass rose looks good too. You can add more artifacts and detail until you have a full "Indy sleeve" which would be pretty cool...

Yeah its on my arm. And I just told him him I wanted a compass rose the whip and the hat. Thanks for good comments. I just wanted to get a fun tattoo for my first tattoo. Kinda a way of saying im me and to remind me to be myself and nomt try and be like everyone else.

I was think of adding some phrase to the bottom of it. Any ideas? I was thinking like "live for adventure" or something like that. Doesn't have to been a quote from indy but just adventure related

'live for adventure' sounds pretty good, one of Indy's popular quotes is another good option like the "It's not the years, it's the mileage" quote. Maybe select one of your favourite lines from the films that you feel best describes your view on adventuring or something else about Indiana Jones that you love.

It's a great tattoo, I really like it :)

Lol. Here's the instructions....

Step 1. Heat headpiece to extreme temperature .


Step 2. Grab hot headpiece like a dumb-ass.


Step 3. Don't let go. (smoke from hand and burning sensation is normal)


Step 4. Scream at top of your lungs.


Step 5. After holding headpiece for 10-20 seconds drop it and find the nearest ice or snow to cool hand promptly.


Step 6. Show and impress your friends.
