X-Men Origins: Wolverine

^ What about Gambit? Did they screw him up, the same way they screwed up Rogue?

I'm not a huge Gambit fan. I mean, I think he's cool and all, but he's just another case of "he's an awesome character because he looks cool". Along the lines of Venom.

That being said, he just sort of shows up in the film. They give Wolverine a line or two explaining why he needs to find him (which they should've just said "To shut up the fanboys") but he's just kind of there. The guy who plays him is okay. His accent sounds kind of strange in some parts but he's okay. He's not in it long though. But it isn't his movie. But it shouldn't matter seeing as Wolverine took up 3 X-men films.

Saw it yesterday.

Friend got that ripped copy. Sure, blue screen, wire, and unfinished CGI, but that really didn't subtract from the all around enjoyability of the film, though that is the statement from a casual X-Men viewer.

A bit... campy isn't the right word, but something an octave below that. Apparently they revised it. Still, a very entertaining story that gives you a relative glimpse into the history and background of the character "Wolverine".

I found it worth while.

I enjoyed it for what it was. I had low expectations going in (as I did with the X men films) so I didn't get let down. Comic book diehards are sure to get pissed though, and perhaps rightly so.

5 more days and the summer movie season begins. (y)

Are they planning any midnight shows with this one? I don't know about this one but I can see it happening with Star Trek.

Question does anyone know where to buy a jacket like Logan has in Origins? It looks similar to the one in the first X-men and wested makes one but I wanted to get the one from Origins.

This film opened in Germany on the 29th; I enjoyed it, though it's not the Wolverine "origin" I remember, though admittedly I quit following the character sometime ago...

But, it's entertainment, great effects, and some really cool comic book moments.

But it ain't Iron Man! :)

Nah, Iron Man was good. But just good.

Wolverine was decent if you don't know **** about the character.

But the geeks like me had to suffer pain getting through it. And unfortunately, we do not have accelerated healing.

Bleh

The first half was pretty sweet (yes, even the maskless Deadpool), and was very enjoyable. The second part however, sucked.

Poor Deadpool.
Glad he died-- BUZZAH? Damn it, he's alive.
