I would rather the adventures of young cario swordsman carry on the indy franchise than mutt williams

and Lord glavin that backstory on the swordsman was just hiliarious man! You should be a writer for Robot Chicken

well, robot chicken is awesome, and they don't have near enough indy references.

But my writing/art skills are currently occupied with video game stuff

but thanks anyways man, appreciate it

So TE Lawrence told Indy as a kid the most important thing is learn the language!

Indy could of asked the swords man what the hell he was doing and he could of told him he was a simple street preformer trying to make a few extra dollars

wow this topic could be in Clerks 3 if they ever make one

Well SW has more source material than Indy.

6 is bigger than 4. Maybe when Indy 5 is released or in 2011 we'll see SW mania type thing.

I've never seen that robot chicken Indy skit. Very funny. I like how it's titled, "what if Indiana Jones was a little boy?" Uh, he was, at one time lol.

He was and it was called The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. I like the title "What if we never saw Indy as a boy?" much better.

Not a fan of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, huh?

It's too bad you don't appreciate The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. It is a really good show, and one which enriches the character in ways that make even the movies more satisfying.

Did I say that I didn't like Last Crusade? No I didn't. Happens to be my second favorite. Did I like the River Phoenix scenes? As a mini-adventure in the tradition of the other films it was okay but overall not my favorite part of the movie. River Phoenix is one thing, Corey Carrier is another.

It was Sean Patrick Flannery for the most part.................

We were talking about Crusade. It was River Phoenix. I wasn't referring to SPF. Young Indy in Crusade is more what I'm talking about. The pacing, the action, it had all the hallmarks of what Indiana Jones should be and River Phoenix captured Harrison right down to his trademarked smirk.

Don't know what the hang up is about Young Indy. Now can we get back to the Cairo Swordsman?

Cairo Swordsman is actually a Thugee from Temple of Doom out to settle a score with Indy. Let's consider some points, shall we?

1) Temple of Doom = 1935, Raiders of the Lost Ark = 1936... that gives him more than enough time to track Indy down for one final fight.

2) His clothes are black and red, not white like the rest of the arabs working for the Nazis.

3) Indy and the swordsman look at eachother as if they've met before, which of course they have, in the catacombs beneath Pankot Palace.

4) Indy pulls out his gun and shoots "Cairo" Swordsman EXACLTY like he tried to in Temple of Doom to the two guards with swords. THE MUSIC IS EVEN THE SAME FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD!1!!

So there you have it. Undeniable proof that Cario Swordsman is a reference to Temple of Doom.

Cairo Swordsman is actually Greedo pre-incarnated. I think SW is actually in the future, while it's being told even farther into the future.
