It was the summer of 1981, and this thriller spun a parallel history where the Nazis nearly got the upper hand in WWII... The MacGuffin is a roll of microfilm of pictures of fake planes near a possible D-Day invasion spot. The second half pits an isolated mother with poor judgement against an unstoppable Donald Sutherland. Good enough to be one of the top 50 films of the year, but must have seemed like a relic of the 70s after Raiders.
