Issue #1 was $10, too. Is it as thick as #1? (Does it have a spine rather than staples?)
Hopefully, this thread will be merged with the existing one: Indiana Jones Magazine!

Yeah, it is a thicker issue like #1. BTW, they couldn't do the interview with Ray Winstone due to his busy schedule. The issue is very LC centric though, think last issue (TOD).

i saw the interview and wouldn't you think someone with al a large indy collection would at least have been dressed more indy like in leather jacket and baggy pants, bag ,leather whip, better fedora , just not indy enough to me ,but yeah he had alot of nice stuff tho ---

He does clearly state in the interview that one area of collecting that he hasn't delved into is putting together an authentic Indy costume...which he will be looking at doing soon.

ON TOPIC: A shame Winstone couldn't be intrviewed. I was intrested to what he had to say.

I just received #4 today, myself. I'd been wondering what was taking so long; now I know...

I do hope it eventually has some decent coverage of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.

Got my UK copy today. It's a very good issue.

Final page state's the the UK will be seeing Issue 5 on December 16th while the US have to wait till January. This seems's weird. :confused:

Is the date correct for once? It hasn't been up till now, it's always had the (I presume) US date for next issue.

Look forward to picking up the new issue today myself hopefully. Wonder how long it'll last..?

I finally got a copy of #4 yesterday. I like that they've been doing an article on the comics each issue. Now that they've finished doing Marvel and Dark Horse, can we hope for an article on the foreign comics next issue?

The novels will probably be taking that space.

I enjoyed working with them. I sent them over 2000 pics of almost everything I have ( which is now 3,300 items ). They knew I did not do costuming but they wanted me to wear the orriginal leather fedora tha twas sold in very exclusive leather stores back in the early 80's. It was like $150 for a leather hat that just had the logo inside LOL!

I had no idea what photos they would use and had no say in the design. I was happy with it though.

i was looking up my local comic shop on there page just now and they say they are suppose to be getting in the indy magazine no.5 on weds, hmmmmmmm ? i thought it wasnt coming out til jan 6th? well i hope thier right

Well, I saw Indy issue 4 in the newsagent today which is weird coz I thought that no one in my part of the world was selling them anymore, as Issue 3 was absolutely no where to be found and there is only one place I know of left that sells the Topps Heritage Cards and KOTCS cards (go ahead and laugh, yes, I still haven't finished the collection, I'm only six cards away for my heritage collection and keep getting doubles and triples, grrrrrr....) Back on topic, the price is freaking outrageous. It's 15 bucks for a magazine. I can't afford that, so I'm having to cut myself off from buying them sadly. I do however plan to buy issue 5 at least, yes, because Marion's on the cover. :rolleyes: Ironic, huh?

I buy my magazines from a little comic shop near our mall I bought them for$13 but they haven't had any in lately. and when i was in Wollongong in shell harbour mall they had the topps cards at kmart I think it was but you should go to target there selling all there Indy stuff cheap(y)

I did get a couple of packs of the KOTCS cards from Kmart when the movie came out but they never sold anymore after that one box of stuff (it was cheap too, 3 bucks a pack, I'm used to paying 5 bucks). No one sells the Heritage which is the one I'm trying to finish. I did go to Target up here, they didn't have any cards at all and the toys were about the same as Toys'R'Us. I haven't really bought the toys, my little bro did get a couple of Lego's packs and yeah, the videogame. I did get a pack of Adventure Heroes for my birthday, which was pretty sweet of Mum. The comic stores I go to, did sell Indy mags for 12 bucks, which I thought was a decent price, but they seem to have decided not to sell them anymore which does suck.

Issue 5 is out today -- here is the Comic shop version cover... nice issue, 50 things you didnt know about Raiders, The Loves of Indy, a review of the novels, Sallah's story, a lot of collecting info and more...

Look for a full review this week.

And of course they probably didn't mention Sophia Hapgood or Deidre Campbell in the Indy Girl article. :rolleyes:

So that Jan. 6th release date for issue 5 was just a bunch of bull****? :confused:
