I was browsing the local bookstore this afternoon and I saw Kirsten Dunst on the cover of Premiere. As if that wasn't enough motivation to take a look, I saw that there was also an interview with director M. Night Shyamalan on his new movie The Village.
In the interview, Shyamalan talks about how Raiders was his inspiration to become a filmmaker. He went on to say that he kept a Raiders poster in his basement office as inspiration. How cool is that?
In an unrelated article, there was a pretty cool pic of Indy-style gear for the new Exorcist movie. It follows Father Merrin in post- World War II Africa and his first encounter with the devil. His gear looked awesome, like a cross between Indy and Rick O'Connell from The Mummy. And his MKVII looked great.
