Hanselation said:Harrison Ford is a friendly person and if different people ask always the same questions, they all become a friendly answer about the Indiana Jones 5-"status".
Harrison is professional and he knows that that's part of his job.
What else should he tell?
"It's on George's plate"

"George. George. George! Stop laughing, George! Look, those people out there are waiting for an answer! It's not funny any more, keeping them waiting all this time."
Time is running out anyway as far as George is concerned:

He doesn't seem to mind the question. There are rumours afoot of a return to playing Indy again in a possible fifth instalment, too.
The actor’s eyes light up when I mention it. It’s been well documented that Star Wars and Indy producer George Lucas gave Ford his first big break in American Graffiti, when he was just a struggling actor and making a living as a carpenter.
“If there’s a good idea, I’d love to play that character – and I’d love to work with George again.”
Good to see someone else keeping track!Hanselation said:

Nothing new though apart from the usual 'George is working on it' line.

I know that article was a bit of a tongue-in-cheek piece but I'm now seriously wondering if Indy V is being set to come out Dec 2012 with a Mayan Prophecy storyline?
That could be why we haven't had the annoucement yet? If it is Dec 2012 release date, then by past films annoucements we wouldn't get official word/press release until this spring/summer?
Montana Smith said:That idea would make a lot of sense. It'd also make sense of George's end of the world prediction (assuming he actually said it).
Indy's brother said:HA! Yes! And Spielberg's eye-rolling was because he couldn't believe that Lucas was airing out plot info on Indy 5 just to push the envelope with his word-play, and didn't want to tip his own hand that this is what Lucas was up to....yet at first didn't know where George was going with it. New rumor!!!
