Ebook Location

Alright guys. I've been working on a short story idea so that i can sell it on an ebooks site and make a little extra cash to fund my adventures. My main problem is that I can't decide on a setting. So I made a poll so that you Raveners, some of the worlds biggest action/adventure readers can help me decide. the story is almost like a modern day Indiana Jones or a tweaked male version of Lara Croft. So with this meager info, try to help me out. If you select "Other" please specify in a post. If you select on of the others, please post and explain your decision. Thanks again.

...I vote other, because you can put the action in all the locations...like some puzzle...one ancient artefact formed within few other pieces in some unaccesible areas around the world...

Or if you want the story on one location...all are great locations to start an adventure...even if you put it in a modern city which hide ancient catacombs...

There's a market for selling fan-fiction?

My mistake... But are you sure there's a market anyway?

Are there other examples of people doing this?

In the arctic, but set it in the future. That would be cool. Not too far, just like 30-50 years. If you watnt to do it Indy-Era (19203-40s) make it more tropical, like South America.

I too am very curious about this. Is there indeed a market for amateur fiction ............that can actually make $$$. The whole concept seems an oxymoron.

As to the setting of your story. .........no offense, but I think if you don't know the setting then you probably don't have a story.
