I'd like to answer and understand your question...but I don't understand what it is?

Basically,Moedred is purposing that Marion got pregnant the night that Indy and her slept together just prior to the submarine scene in Raiders. If the child was concieved at this time then the fetus would have been subjected to the powerful godly energy that was released from the ark when it was opened at the end of Raiders. Scientists have proven that what the mother is subjected to during the 9 months of pregnancy effects the developing child. For instance there have been studies done that show that when the parents listen to mozart all of the time then the child seems to be more musically and mathematically inclined. Therefore if what Moedred is purposing happened during this time the child would also have been subjected to the brilliant music of John Williams which I believe would make both the child highly psychic and a wonderful composer of movie scores. So how do you think the child would be affected by these events?thats the question.

I thought that might be what you were asking...but it seemed like an odd question so I had to ask.
This is a possiblity...I mean the ark was the "old testiment" foreshadowing of Christ. And when John The Baptist was in the womb and heard a pregnant Mary's voice (pregnant with Jesus) John the baptist leaped in the womb.

Neat idea, but I thought nothing actually happened on the Bantu Wind. Indy passed out while Marion complained they never had a free moment. (Very true, by the way! )

I could be wrong, but that's how I interpret the film.


Should it be true, as cool as the idea is, I wouldn't want it to be official because it seems a little bit too "out there" for Indiana Jones. However, it could make a very enjoyable fan-fiction!

Ah, a Marion thread, I can post in. Yeah, I funnily enough, have been thinking along those lines for a while (I just never bothered posting a thread about it). My two cents: the kid could have very powerful psy abilities and more (how about lightning coming from fingertips as a nod to Star Wars???) or maybe secret archaic knowledge of the world (like where's the Garden of Eden?). I'm thinking super intelligence and s/he can be smarter than Indy and his Dad!
