Those straps around Harrison's legs in the photo above are a safety harness. This was the day after a stunt double lost a finger performing on the motorcycle. Just as in the previous 3 films, Ford did a good portion of his own "physical acting" in Crystal Skull.
this is the first bug summer blockbuster and there aren't any teasers or stills yet. interesting. I think its good marketing to be honest. Not overdoing anything.
Here's a song that describes my desperate feelings:
Quote:
Yer Blues by the Beatles
Yes I'm lonely wanna die
Yes I'm lonely wanna die
If I ain't dead already
Ooh girl you know the reason why
In the morning wanna die
In the evening wanna die
If I ain't dead already
Ooh girl you know the reason why
My mother was of the sky
My father was of the earth
But I am of the universe
And you know what it's worth
I'm lonely wanna die
If I ain't dead already
Ooh girl you know the reason why
The eagle picks my eye
The worm he licks my bone
I feel so suicidal
Just like Dylan's Mr. Jones
Lonely wanna die
If I ain't dead already
Ooh girl you know the reason why
Black cloud crossed my mind
Blue mist round my soul
Feel so suicidal
Even hate my rock 'n' roll
Wanna die yeah wanna die
If I ain't dead already
Ooh girl you know the reason why
As a matter of fact, the people I'm really disappointed in (or of? it's really late here) the most are the makers and inventors of fake news. Fake news is entertaining and creepy stuff. And like most other things: you only start to appreciate it in times it ain't there. If it's there you curse it and the sick imdb posting, movie-web-writing schmocks who produce it.
But in the end, it's these little stories of doom that entertain us all the way to the big release.
That smell of awesomeness if you see the headline, the anger and agony if you explore the **** that's behind it and the moment of self-reflection, in which you notice that you actually consider the possibility that Steven Spielberg may have put some rubber things of a film he did 30 years ago in this movie you've been waiting long years to be made to turn out to be true...
You give those crazy ideas a shot because all of the crazy **** that has become true in the past few long years. That's the weakness and fear those creators of fake are counting on.
But I prefer the trailer transcripts over actual trailer any day.
The creepier and bigger the chance of it being true, the better. All the other "look-I-actually-pretended-to-film-this-trailer-on-a-screen"-endeavors are just too sad and painfull if you consider the poor existence, that stand behind them.
And still, even those are somehow worth it. Even if it's just for the fun of sorting through the 1000th "OMG first teaser on youtube" post.
Creators of fake news, I'm calling you! Do something! Make stuff up and unashamedly post it!
If you like lame/sad/fake Indy news you'd love the IMDB forums.
Ah, the Mos Eisley spaceport of the web. Absolutely. And not only as someone with an occasional appreciation of the fake but also as a girl who pretends to study anthropology. It's an interesting place for fieldwork and interesting observations.
For example: Today it made me think of how mentally challenged people use the web and how they are treated.(In all seriousness) I mean...what and who is a mentally challenged or retarded person on a message board?
Also in all seriousness: Good night.
And try to consider the positive side: How cool it is that they're not releasing one pic and information after an other. In the end the lack of official news may deserve some praise.

Yes, it boggles the mind. The effort they're making to keep fans from knowing even the slightest bit of detail is amazing.
this guy who posted them seems to have a long record of releasing images of productions. is he a plant? how did that happen?
oh, i love indy's look in the third pic.
