What's up with Legos?

I hate Legos. They look funny and they aren't models, yet one is expected to build the item. I see people going nuts over these Indy Lego sets but I find them to be butt-ugly time consuming POSs.

Geez, another one...

They're Legos. They don't count for anything. They don't affect you. Don't waste your hate. They're stylized, and that's an option, and they have a certain charm, but even if they didn't, it wouldn't be worth your hate.

Why are you hating on them? Part of the fun is building them. If you dont like them don't buy them. Its that simple.

What you see is a world where you are the minority and madabout it... Legos have thrived for YEARS without your love.....Guess what, the Indy line will sell millions without you buying a single block.

A lot of good your post did

Hate is a strong word. Are you sure you don't just dislike them a whole whole lot?

Did you at least get some boxes to mail in for your very own Han Solo in stormtrooper armor? Not sure if you collect(ed) Star Wars but I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about.

Not sure how old you are and if you've ever played with them as a kid, but LEGO is one of the coolest toys ever made. You can build basically anything you want (as long as you have the pieces and imagination, of course) and the adventures are limitless. I built the thing once following instructions, and that lasted for about a day before I'd demolish the thing and build and rebuild it with all my other sets for some mega crazy playset.

And the minifigs do have a certain charm. They're cute. Yeah, I'm a guy and said it. That's the result of having 3 sisters and lots of girls as friends I suppose but it gets my point across. I can't wait to get the $10 Indy set

That's because they are covered in a non nutritive cereal varnish.

Legos are indeed one of the greatest toys of all time, bcuz they can be nearly anything you want them to. For starters lets remember legos are for kids. It says right on the box Age 7-14. Well im 21 and I still picked up the little $20 tomb w/ Indy and Marion. Why? Bcuz it looks cool displayed w/ the rest of my stuff and reminds me of being a kid. As a younger kid its also somewhat educational, teaching them to follow insructions and expand there imaginations. Plus it provides the ability to make things you might not be able to regulary. For example as a kid, I used the "Adventure" legos to make my own Indiana Jones figures and sets. The only other option would have been the vintage Indy line and as an 8 yr old kid thats tricky to get a hold of. I even built a massive submarine w/ multiple decks once, like the sub in Fate of Atlantis, w/ the side cut out view like in the game. It took me several weeks, but it gave me and my friend something fun to do everyday after school. My friend enjoyed making scaled cars out of legos w/ realistic looking engines or working pistons, and now hes an auto mechanic. That could very well be chalked up, in part to Lego. So there ya go, dont be a hater.

And i bet if they put out a little weeble wobble ewok village, the Star Wars guys would still pick it up at age 30 or w/e bcuz sure its aimed at kids, but that doesn't mean it can't still be fun. Stop caring what others think, and do what makes you happy.

I'm just stating my opinion that's all. Geez, some people are quite defensive of those little blocks.

I take it you won't be playing the Lego Indy game either. I certainly won't miss it. I'm 34 and have 2 toddlers who love their Lego. Especially the Star Wars Lego. I feel I must introduce INDIANA JONES to their lives and will be buying some of the smaller sets. The Indy mini fig is my favorite mini fig of all time. Well done Lego!
