There should be a monument in Washington DC for it.

Raiders kicks backside!!! My one gripe is the Tanis dig sequences slow the pace somewhat.

Raiders is my number one, but The Godfather and The Searchers come close for me.

While I enjoy ToD a great deal, personally I have to give best genre sequel to TESB. Taking nothing away from RAIDERS though, it's a classic piece of filmmaking.

Sorry, I have a three-way split: Raiders of the Lost Ark,The Empire Strikes Back, and It's a Wonderful Life (even SS agrees with me on that one )
One also can't forget LOTR; Fellowship was an excellent piece of filmmaking.

Sorry man, big fan of the books, the first film stayed true to that for me. Shore's score was awesome for the film, you must at least grant me that...

I love Indiana Jones films... but I also have a good history with such films as Spider-Man, Batman, The Bourne Trilogy Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, Mission:Impossible, etc...

I love many movies, not just Indiana Jones ones... though, who can argue. Raiders is awesome!
