I found it at TRU. 8/31/08. Is supposed to be on shelves this early? Also I bought it in canada and there was not any french or spanish writing on it like all the rest of the stuff you buy in canada. The art work is awesome on the package. Not to mention free figures. ChromiumBlue37 get buying dude! We need well of souls/map room playsets.

Its because they repainted an old Mask/Star Wars playset mold and re-used it for this. Still, I like it.

I disagree. I hate Legos.

Doesn't look like the Temple Of Akator! But I still can't wait to get my hands on one of these.

So you can make up your own Indy adventures at the lost temple of whatever. You have to admit, even though it is far from screen accurate, it looks very Indy!

All across Canada - sorry.

$49.99 at local Toys R Us.

You'll have to wait for someone else to post open pic's - I don't open stuff due to the huge amount of stuff I have to keep track (2,500+ items and growing)... and it all has to fit in the museum!

Yeah I live a throw of a hockey puck away from Canada and my g/f is a canadian. I frequent the country often. Canada might be behind in their waves for action figures but they are ahead of the game for this playset. Canada now has the upper hand.

Too bad the lego Indy stuff is selling better than the hasbro stuff. I'm into lego. Akator lego is 20xs more accurate than the hasbro playset.

The Hasbro stuff is actually selling, (Adventure Heroes, 12 inch figures, vehicles, role play), it's the poor choice of action figure case assortments that everyone is noticing. The action figures are the focal point to almost all of us and that is what we see before anything else. Beleive it or not, the Hasbro glut is actually going to pass and we will see better times. Price Rollbackacks at Wal-Mart plus DVD sales and the Holday shopping Season will prove this.

Playsets rarely sit on store shelves and should stimulate figure sales.

Went to Toys R Us, and there on the self were four Akator Temple Playsets! Did I get one? No. I think I may pass on these because it does not look like anything from the movie, and I'm low on money right now. I might get it in a few months. So it is here in western Canada as well, and is selling for $49.99.

Now where the hell are the LC figures?

Ummmmm better hockey? A canadian team hasn't won the stanley cup since 1993. Not to mention I'm a BUFFALO Sabres fan so I will never agree with you when I can watch the most electrifying and excting team in the league right down the steet. Maybe you're talking about the useless teams to the league like Dallas,Carolina,Anaheim,NJ, ect ect. Though The Great One is the greatest player of all time he ended his career in the united states and played for 3 american teams and 1 canadian.

hahaha...well, if it helps move the old product, and maybe sell a few more playsets to on-the-fence parents for their kids, so be it. I wouldn't mind getting an extra spalko--mine has a patch of missing paint on her chest--looks like there's a hole in her uniform and she isn't anatomically correct. haha, oh well.

You wouldn't find them cool if you'd been having a recurring nightmare for the past decade of a mob of Lego people chasing you, catching you, and finally beating your skull in with their Lego bricks.

Its horrible.

This set is freakin' amazing! It has all the screen inaccuracies as the beloved playsets of the 80's!

Here is just a quick photo I took.If anyone has any specific shots they wanna see let me know!

I'm out of here.I have a ton of playing...Er...displaying to do.
