It's 6:40am here in LA. Ever since Sideshow announced the pre-orders for Indy would happen this week, I've been waking at around 6am everyday since Sunday in hopes of not missing it. My alarm didn't go off this morning and at around 6:18, my girl came over to me to say goodbye before she left for work. As she bent over to kiss me, I snapped my head up and asked her, "What time is it? Oh, crap!" I then leaped out of bed, and ran past her, dashing into the living room to turn on our laptop. Thankfully...I didn't miss it. This figure looks amazing, I must say. I can't believe all the different accessories it comes with. I'm super-psyched for this beauty!
LOL, I just saw your post in that thread after I posted this.
I absolutely love it! The exclusive items are a bit of a let down...a dart and a torch? It's all good though, I really do appreciate the way Sideshow does exclusive items that you can usually live without if you don't manage to get the exclusive. Still, I am happy I got one
$89.99 is a lot for a 12" Sideshow figure, but worth every penny in this case if you ask me. He comes with a ton of accessories and two heads, plus, he is supposed to be on the new style body.

Yeah the pricetag kept me from ordering two, like I originally intended! I can't justify dropping $200 on two of these! One was going to be for safekeeping and possibly as a resell, the other is getting opened as soon as it arrives!
Yeah, $90 was more than I was expecting in terms of price...but, I looked at it this way; the Toys McCoy one usually goes for about gazillion bucks...so, this one's a steal, right?

I tried to order two but couldn't. You can see the disclaimer at the bottom of the product page.
Please note: There is a 1 piece limit on this product. Sideshow's policy limits quantities per person, household, credit card, billing address and/or shipping address. For our complete product quantity policy follow this link.
And this, which was rumored to be a fan's concept of what the final paint job would look like! What do you think of this as opposed to the one we got?
I think that they are actually pretty close. The difference is in the neck! I think that having the neck joined to the head, in the picture you provided, looks way better!! The replacable head on the one we got, makes Indy look a little on the jawwy side. Too bad, but it still looks pretty good.

His face does look a little full! I think the eyes are better on the prototype I posted, only because they show how deep set Ford's eyes really are. Then again maybe it's just the lighting with that pic. But, also he looks to have a bit more color in his face too, which makes more sense since he had a serious tan in Raiders and TOD! The Sideshow figure is a little paler then he should be, but it's still awesome.
Only 1 figure per person, huh? I read on the Sideshow fan's forum one guy got 3 of them, I wonder how?
Did anyone see the poll on the front page about the Indy figure? One of the answers says "I'm waiting for the premium format." What is the premium format?
I have exactly 30 dollars saved up for this figure. I have to do alot of work to earn up the full price. But the figure comes with 2 heads? On with a hat permanatly attached and one without a hat, that sorta disapointing, I'd just want one head with a removable fedora

At least you won't get billed until it ships which should be after June sometime.
Yes, all preorders need a credit card. You can order by money order for in-stock items only. If you want one you need to find someone with a credit card fast and pay them back during the summer!

I'd have to find someone, I'm only 15 so I don't have a credit card, mabe I can ask one of my parents than work it off or something

It's about 95 with shipping. If you have 30 now then you could give them 5 bucks a week until July and pay it off by then. I'd call one at work now if you can because if you're in Alaska they might not have them until your parents come home later in the day.
