thats cool you got the comic con box with the temple figures in it . i have a extra box myself that was my son's when i bought two sets of the raiders comi con exclusives . greta big box isn't it!?
Haven't gotten anything Indy in a long time, but was in HMV today and picked up the single disc DVD with slipcover of Crystal Skull for $10. I actually like the cover art on the single disc more than the 2-disc or the Blu-Ray. I like the ensemble covers of the movies rather than just Indy on the front.
Well I got my first Indy Hat this past weekend! It's a Dorfman Pacific Wool hat. I know, not the best quality but it's a step above a cheap Halloween Costume Hat, and I couldn't hold out much longer while I'm saving for a DM Adventurer.
I heavily customized it from that terrible factory bash and darkened the ribbon to a more screen accurate shade.
And oh, wait a minute! 100 POSTS! First Avatar here I come!
Hello, I got this at a yard sale for $25 earlier today.
I cannot find anything about it anywhere.
Wow! Nice find. These were the banners that hung all around Disneyland in 1995. It is thought approx. 100 were made (plus extras that were used for Disney mobile events). There are also a few prototypes (slight color differences, slight design differences) that are in collectors hands.
Vic Armstrong sent me a few autographs. The most special is this one because I designed this poster for him. But there are afew others. Thank you so much Mr. Armstrong, you really honor your reputation.
Acquired one of foreverwingnut's excellent Indy dioramas.. a great guy to deal with, and very fair where price is concerned.Behold the mine tunnel dio, along with inky's cart and Pankot Escape Willie Scott, (apologize for the resolution, my Canon took much better pics, which I will eventually get up).
