Archetypes

I know this sounds nerdy, but I'm fascinated by the study of archetypes in both film and literature, and I think that the Indiana Jones trilogy would be a great example of film that featured many archetypes. So, does anyone want to discuss this topic?
Also, I've been looking for a site that would do this as well. You know, analyze the movie for archetypes. If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks!

Yeah i tried looking for a website about archetypes about Indy but I couldn't find any about it if you was talking about Star Wars you would find that a plenty, people don't give the same analytical thinking it deserves. I recommend you find a book called Citizen Spielberg and it has a nice section where it disect the archetypes of the characters. It talked about Father-son relationships in TOD and LC as Indy is like the surrogate father in TOD to Short Round and Willie is the surrogate step mom. Have you looked into theRaider.net's articles where one of the recent ones talks about the character of Indiana through the 3 films and the Young Indiana leading up to KOTCS and what his character will be like.
