Hasbro provides list of figure relic pack ins

From the Hasbro Q&A over at The Well of the Souls:

Quote:
Q: Can you give us a list of what "artifacts" we can expect to find packed in with the 3.75" line coming out soon? And were there any that you couldn't get to do that you'd like to include somewhere down the line?

A:See the attached Indiana Jones relic list. There are a couple types of relics, including those from the film, and those that have hi storical reference. We used a mix of both types. We haven't specified which figures have which artifacts...that is for you guys to discover. But they are all "dedicated" - not randomly packed. Happy hunting!

Relics that are in the film, and have historical reference
Shankara Stone
Ankh
Crystal Skull
Holy Grail
Eye of Horus
Anubis Statue
Aztec Sun Dial
Fertility idol

Relics not featured in the films, and have historical reference
Easter Island Head
Terracotta Warrior Statue
Terracotta Horse
Spear of Destiny
Nurhache?s Urn
Battle axe of Leif Ericson

Relics featured in the films, and have no historical reference
Headpiece of the staff of Ra
Grail Tablet
Temple Relief Sculpture
Temple of Doom Medallion
Cross of Coronado
Christies Chalice
False Grail
Knight?s Shield

Relics not featured in the films, and have no historical reference
Arrowhead
Dagger
Diamond
Funerary Mask
Chinese Lion
Chinese Dragon
Spartan Helmet

Some cool items there! Weird that they list Nurhaches Urn as not appearing in the films...though I am sure it is just an error.

am i missing something with the "temple of doom medallion"?

and what's Christies Chalice?? I hope that's not a pet name for the Holy Grail

What did your figures (the ones you have opened)come with so that we will know what relics go with them?

The "Funerary Mask" they mention, I'm quite certain, is the Mask of Agamemnon we've seen as one of the artifacts elsewhere, which means that it is also misclassified.

Perhaps when they say Christies Chalice they mean the false Grail that Donovan drank out of? No clue why they would call it that, but I'm just thinking of chalices...
And as for the ToD medallion, I'm lost on that as well.

No they listed both Holy Grail and False Grail, The only other chalice in the Indiana Jones movies I can think of is the one Mola Ram uses to pour the blood down Indy's throat. It may just be something else unrelated.

I was thinking the same thing. They do look alike, unless I'm remembering another picture.

Oh yes, I forgot about that one. And shows how good my reading skills are, because I didn't see that...

So far we know that Indiana Jones (Cairo) comes with the Grail Tablet and Cemetary Warrior comes with the Funerary Mask. Anybody have any guesses what other figures would come with what?

Well, there have been a couple of images and case breakdowns that show/list the figures with relics. From those we can ascertain the following:

Indy w/jacket: Temple Relief Sculpture (?)
Cairo Indy: Grail Tablet
Cairo Swordsman: Terra Cotta Warrior Statue
Monkey Man: Remains of Nurhache
Marion: Staff of Ra Headpiece
Belloq: Fertility Idol
Sallah: Terra Cotta Horse
Cemetary Warrior: Funerary Mask

As far as I know, these are all that have been revealed.

Case breakdown for wave 1 from Entertainment Earth

Great Pics!
What is that with Bazooka Indy from KotCS in the bottom pic?
Is that an Ankh, the Spear of Destiny, the Battle axe of Leif Ericson, the Cross of Coronado or the Dagger? It looks like it has a hilt, so is it the Ankh?

Your question made me go back and look at the pics from Toyfair again and I came across this slide from Hasbro's presentation which shows us the following:

KOTCS Indy: Dagger?
Mutt w/jacket: Spear of Destiny maybe?
Dovchenko: Thugee Skull/Chalice
Mutt w/snake: ??? can't tell, water mark is in the way
Ugha Warrior: Arrow Head
Spalko" Crystal Skull

The artifact with Mutt looks like an Eye of Horus symbol.

There are 28 artifacts listed by Hasbro. There are supposedly to be 30 figures. Perhaps, the two artifact-less figures are the “army builder” German soldiers.
Anyway, I have done the following for the convenient use of this thread:

Below is a CORRECTED list of the artifacts that will be included:
Relics that are in the film, and have historical reference
Sankara Stone
Crystal Skull
Holy Grail
Fertility Idol
Aztec Sun Dial (in background in Hovito‘s temple and possibly in KotCS)
Diamond (most likely this is the “Eye of the Peacock“)
Relics not featured in the films, and have historical reference
Easter Island Head (this may have been in YIJC)
Terracotta Warrior Statue (this was in Emperor’s Tomb)
Terracotta Horse (this was in Emperor’s Tomb)
Spear of Destiny (this was in a comic-book)
Anubis Statue (this was in the YIJC)
Eye of Horus (I don‘t remember this being in any film)
Battle-Axe of Leif Ericson (I don‘t remember this being in any film)
Funerary Mask (this mask is the same as the pic posted by Attila)
Chinese Lion (I assume this is a statue)
Chinese Dragon (I assume this is a statue)
Spartan Helmet (I don‘t remember this being in any film)
Relics featured in the films, and have no historical reference
Headpiece of the Staff of Ra
Grail Tablet
Temple Relief Sculpture (this is from Hovito’s temple and maybe KotCS)
Temple of Doom Medallion (I think this is the necklace that Willie wore in ToD)
Cross of Coronado
Christies Chalice (I don‘t know what this is. It has been suggested that this is the cup that Indy drank the Blood of Kali from.)
False Grail
Knight’s Shield
Nurhache’s Urn
Relics not featured in the films, and have no historical reference
Arrowhead
Dagger

——————————————————————————————————————————

Below is a list of artifacts and the figures that I THINK or know they will accompany. Those with "and"s are are figures that may include a relic as an accessory. For example, Belloq has a larger Idol as a relic and Jacket Indy has a smaller one as an accessory:
Crystal Skull ——————— KotCS Indy and Spalko
Holy Grail ——————— Henry Jones, Sr.
Fertility Idol ——————— Priest Robes Belloq and Jacket Indy
Terracotta Warrior Statue ——————— Arabic Swordsmen
Terracotta Horse ——————— Sallah
Funerary Mask ——————— Cemetery Warrior
Headpiece of the Staff of Ra ——————— Marion
Grail Tablet ——————— Cairo Indy
Temple Relief Sculpture ——————— Jacket Indy
Temple of Doom Medallion ——————— Willie Scott
Cross of Coronado ——————— Young Indy (played by River Phoenix)
False Grail ——————— Donovan
Knight’s Shield ——————— Grail Knight
Nurhache’s Urn ——————— Monkey Man
Arrowhead ——————— Ugha Warrior
Spear of Destiny ——————— Jacket Mutt
Eye of Horus? ——————— Mutt w/ Snake
Sankara Stone ——————— Mola Ram
Diamond ——————— Lao Che
Dagger ——————— Oldy Indy, no hat
Chalice ——————— Dovchenko

The above is just speculation, but it should be pretty accurate. I wrote most of this list before logging on and seeing that picture and I was right about the Ugha warrior. So, hopefully, the above list is close to accurate. Some have been confirmed, others are just guesses.

Anyway, to me it seems strange that the Ruskie soldier has no relic. I think that his relic has just been covered up to fit the images on that one pic.

Oh no, you are just fine! You provided useful information in an original thread topic. There are some pretty bad threads in this forum that need to die. This is a good one!

"Battle-Axe of Leif Ericson (I don‘t remember this being in any film)"

The Sargasso Pirates comics!

The dagger from KOTCS Indy could be the dagger from golden fleece. (it looks kinda alike, but I'll have to see a better picture to be sure)

Do you think we'd get a replica of the Jackal from the first episode of YIJ if they were to expand the line to include a Sean Patrick Flannery version?

I just hope, that with each new line, they will provide new artifacts as well... I'm really excited by all those small treasures! A young Indy line of figures could give us some nice new artifacts, like the one you mentioned. (or is that the anubis statue already mentioned above?)

That's was my first guess, but who knows.

A SPF figure would be really cool, though. I'd even take a bearded Indy from Mystery of the Blues.
