It's a tough call for me after Raiders. I like Doom because it's on the opposite end of the spectrum from Crusade and Raiders, but I love Connery in Crusade. I don't want to put Kingdom too high and be slightly underwhelmed, but I really don't think it will be the "worst" Indy film.

Raiders of the Lost Ark>Last Crusade>Temple of Doom>Crystal Skull

Last Crusade and Temple of Doom are kinda tied, but Last Crusade's humor beats Temple of Doom's darkness. I don't have high expectations for Crystal Skull, so hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised with it once it comes out.

I hate to put ToD last, but as of right now "Kingdom" is looking better. The articles on the front page aren't encouraging, but, hell, what can we do.

Great topic! This was really tough for me. There are certain aspects of TOD I don't like, but I really don't think Kingdom will top it in action scenes. Kingdom might make it above Temple if the Crystal Skull turns out to be a really cool Mcguffin and the Shia/Marion/(Abner?) story actually works.

1. Raiders of the Lost Ark (the original can never be beat)
2. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (looks like a lot of temples/lost cities...my kind of Indy)
3. Last Crusade (just a fun movie to watch)
4. Temple of Doom (like the mine cart chase, this movie has it's high's and low's)

The only possible change would be Crystal Skull moving to no. 3 and Last Crusade taking back it's no. 2 spot.
