A friend of mine said he hopes that Hasbro releases each character in EVERY SINGLE outfit that they appeared in the movies...
While I'm hoping for a Marion in a white dress (or even Bartender Marion) I don't think it would be neccesary to make (nor would I buy) a Marion in the white dress suit from Sallah's house or a Marion in Washington DC dress suit at the end of "Raiders".
I WOULD BUY a Belloq in white suit and hat...but not Belloq in his Jungle attire.
I WOULD BUY "TOD" Indy in white tuxudo...but not shirtless Indy under the black sleep of Kali.
I WOULD BUY Elsa in her Library Catacombs outfit...but not the thousands of others she was in throughout the picture.
I WOULD BUY Willie in her red nightclub outfit, or even in Indy's tux...but not Willie in her pajamas.
That being said...do you guys think (if the series of waves continues throughout the next year or two) they should make ALL the characters in their various incarnations? Or just stick with a few?
I think every outfit would be rather mundane. I think the standard should be every outfit that revolves around a crucial or action oriented scene. So something like Bartender Marion would be acceptable considering it’s an outfit that saw some action. Something like Marion’s suit at the end of the film…not so much. I’d certainly buy shirtless black sleep of Kali Indy though. I think he’d be worthy of a figure as he’s shirtless for a good amount of action.
I know the bridge Indy has been comfirmed. I would like to see the tux Indy also. I would like to see an Indy without his jacket but with his sleeves unrolled.
Rather than attempt to list all of the versions of Indy I absolutely want, I'll list the ones I can (I suppose) live without (but Hasbro, if you're reading this, I will buy these also! I have quit SW and dedicated my collecting monies to Indy!)

...To be honest, I want every Willie possible, since each outfit is worn in important scenes.
Though I know it's not a pivotal scene, at some point I would like to see Indy in the suit and hat and Marion in the dress from the very end of "Raiders". These outfits are so different from anything else they wore in either "Raiders" or KOTCS that it would be cool to see these as figures, maybe even as a two-pack (though I know the likelyhood of this is almost nil).
I finally have achieved the impossible and have one of every figure made so far and with the exception of the the illusive troop car I have both of the other vehicles. I was thinking that when my boys will be playing with these or collectors are setting up scenes that there are several possible figures that would make the line even better than it is. So I started my own wish list.
I know some of them have been rumored and some have been confirmed for later releases. If one could have it all this is what I would want. Sorry for the long post. Let me know if there are more figure, vehicle or playset possibilities that I have missed.

Now that we've finally seen the TOD line, I'm at least hoping we get maybe a Nightclub Willie and White Tux Indy in the future...and maybe even a Deluxe Pack of Lao Che with his sons...or a Deluxe pack of the Kali ceremony featuring shirtless Indy, Purple garbed Chatter Lal and a Thuggie Priest.
So I did some select viewing of Temple of Doom just a few moments ago. I was specifically looking for alternate Thuggee army builders. The priests certainly go without saying. Considering we’re being given an adventure heroes priest, I’d say it’s a safe assumption that we’ll get a figure of one eventually. The Thuggee we’re currently getting is actually slightly different then the majority shown in the film. It’s essentially the same all but for the scarf covering the face. Most the thugs faces aren’t covered, specifically for all the major action scenes. Then you have alternate weapons you could include. These men are shown with swords, rifles, revolvers, and bows. The assassin that attempts to choke Indiana appears to have a completely unique outfit and features interesting facial hair. If we get the Monkey man…why not the Thuggee assassin? There are many slave drivers in the film. They’re basically the giant thug but otherwise lacking the red sash and bulky body. They’re especially featured in the quarry battle and mine cart chase. But most interesting was somewhat of a surprise. I noticed that around Willie’s sacrifice, when Indiana is under the black sleep, once he breaks free there is a quick scene of the Maharaja being taken away by what appears to be (to my knowledge) entirely unique Thuggee soldiers never shown anywhere else. Very interesting. Lots of options for more thug army builders.
