Blockbuster Indy DVD Case $20 on Clearance

FYI, anyone that hasn't picked up the Blockbuster exclusive Indy DVD case, it's now marked down to $19.99 in their system. It's probably a real hit and miss as to which stores still have them in stock, but I was able to find one this past weekend.

Michael Crawford did a good review of it over on his website here: http://www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_052308a.htm

Pretty much his only complaint with the item was its original $50 price. At $20, I think this thing is a steal.

I picked it up a month ago for $29. It's so damn sexy.

I got mine. I wish blockbuster would have released one of those sweet textured in frame movie posters of raiders. i couldn't understand why they would only release kotcs and temple in them.

^ The posters are $14 now I believe. And the big cardboard mounted KOTCS posters are $5.

My wife got me one of these for my birthday back in July. It's an awesome piece! $19.99 is a steal for it if you can find one!

did anyone ever come across the Indy Blockbuster car -- I paid a decent sum on eBay -- but never saw one in the stores?

$19.99 is a good price. Every Blockbuster by me still has them. People aren't buying them. I'm hoping they drop down even more. $9.99 - $14.99 ??? I think they'll go lower by me.
Taking my chances. Rolling the dice.

Thanks for the heads up about this. I stopped by a Blockbuster tonight and nabbed the case, which is a really, really great item, as well as several Iron Man pieces that were there as well.

Good call on this one, and you can't beat the price. This piece is practically a statue, let alone a cool DVD organizer.

Just bought one today...this thing is sweet. On top of this, there were the Tumbler glasses on sale. Four glasses with the posters from all 4 movies printed on them for 6.99.

There were various hats and shirts (All XL and XXL) that were not that pleasing to look at.

Here are some pics of the Blockbuster canvas poster for those who haven't seen it. It seems from what I've heard from the guys in the stores I went too, the hardest three to find at this point in order are the Iron Man one (sold out everywhere), the Indy one and then the Batman one (least hardest).

Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Canvas Poster from Blockbuster

Close up shot to try to give an idea of the texture

I know.. I was discussing this with a friend. I'd have bought them all, and even if I didn't have the wallspace, I'd just have periodically switched them out. But seriously, if you can find the KOTCS poster it's definitely worth picking up. It's a pretty decent image that reminds me of the initial teaser poster for Temple of Doom back in the day.
