Monster/Hoax/Decomposing Carcass?

Our friends in America will no doubt already be familiar with this 'montauk monster' but I found it interesting. I'd love if we genuinely discovered some sort of new weird and wonderful creature. I love myths. Unfortunately this one just looks like a decomposing dog to me.

It looks like a dead ass-blaster from Tremors 3.
But, the body does look like a dog, but it looks like it has a beak.

It looks more hungover than dead. Have they poked it with a stick?

It does look like it has a beak, but at the angle shot you can see that it has the appearence of a dog's skull with two canine teeth.

The webed feet are strange; but that could be the way the legs are decomposing.

I'd be inclined to believe this a dead dog... but thats an initial guess.

It's obviously Tokka (pictured upper left) after getting drunk and losing his shell in a game of cards.

Actually, that's Tokka. Rahzar's on the right.

Tokka! Yes, that looks just like him! I have his action figure still in the packaging.

EDIT: This was Lonsome_Drifter posting. My wife forgot to sign out of her username!

That image... it's just a dog. The nose has decomposed in a way that looks like a "beak" from the other angle. The paws have decomposed in a way that look like fins on the front.... and the jaw is obviously slightly missing showing the full extent of his bottom teeth.

It seems obvious to me. *shrug* Imaginations can run wild... maybe it is a beaked monster.
