Indiana Jones and the Amulet of the Gods (Fan Film)

Finally, after months of work, the film is done. Took me awhile to find a suitable place to host it and I apologize for not updating sooner, been REALLY busy.

Indiana Jones goes down under when he receives a letter from Maggie McNiel, his former schoolmate, asking for his help in uncovering the strange and powerful Sunset Talisman, lost somewhere in Perth, Australia for hundreds of years. Dark, powerful forces are protecting the amulet, not only from Maggie and Indy, but rival raiders as well.

Anyway to your film:

I've only been able to watch about 8 minutes of your film so far but I'm going to watch the rest tonight in an hour or so. I got to where Mac and Indy are at the campfire and Mac tells the girl to go too sleep.
I like it so far. the plot has been pretty good. I'm not so sure about Mac's university girl but I guess I'll find out soon won't i?

Some constructive criticisms would be that you need to get a tripod. I loved the jungle panning shots. they were a real homage to the opening of rotla but it looked unprofessional when done in hand.
Also I think you should invest in a microphone. I have a real crappy one that sits just underneath the shot or on a homemade boom pole. It really improves the production and especially when outside like your film you understand the story, jokes, drama etc.

Great job so far though. I really haven't seen enough to comment on it properly but give me some time and i'll post again with a full review.

cheers

i liked the story --- parts i hoped could be better --re the fights scenes --- i know there wasn't a lot of time time to rehearse but they needed a bit of work --- but overall i liked the plot and the camera work was fine . there were some spots where the editing was lacking but --- hey its a fan film . good work and hope to see more from you soon , out of four stars i give it a 3.25 stars --- good job

I applaud your effort and feel your pain about the lack of interest in fan made movies on this site.
I'm writing my second Indy Fan Movie. Let me know if you'd like to collaborate.

Well I've been tossing around the idea of a tribe of explorers who were stranded in the jungle and slowly went insane, worshipping the relic they'd come there to find.
