I changed a couple of times, but now I think I'm staying with Roscoe, tough he is a pretty nasty character
I should have stayed with the Bantu Wind Crew I chose at first... but the temptation to choose another one when you have enough posts, and the fear to see a lot of 'Bantu Wind Crews' appearing during KOTCS premiere times because it's 'cheap', made me move and change.

I picked this because it's one of the LEGO minifigs. I only collect the LEGO Indy line. And I picked Jock because I didn't think anyone else had used him. He's good for helping Indy get out of a bind, even if he does have a pet snake. And we, of course, hate snakes.

Unfortunately, I'm restricted to Indy-related pics. Thus, I have chosen good ol' Mutt Williams. Both because I love the character (c'mon, Lucas, when is that spinoff gonna happen? don't listen to the *****ing fanboys!) and because I look sorta like him (EMPHASIS on SORTA!)

Anyway, chose mine because Marion's my favourite character and at the time, was excited about KOTCS and the announcement of Marion being in the movie. Though, now I think I might change it to a different Marion avatar just for something different.
Almost a shame. I always enjoy when regulars have a distinctive one, and since I feel like what I read most of the these days are the epic battles between you and Darth Vile (there's some great stuff in there), be nice to have one. But that's just me as a member talking, obviously.

I still think its the weakest of the original trilogy, but I LOVE Temple of Doom anyway, and that opening is so crazy. Indy was so cool in this one, looking like his dad James Bond. It combines two of my favorite characters in one scene of crazy awesomeness.
I can't remember. It's just one of those "wait, what..." things. Like that photo of Aunt Jemima in my profile; I don't even recall why or when I uploaded it. I tend to forget it's there, though, so on the rare occasion I view my profile I see it and I smile.

Hm. Didn't previously know you had a wider selection of avi's to choose from based on post count. Or that you couldn't even use one before you had 100 posts. When I went back and picked mine, I just assumed I had overlooked how to select one the first time I tried.
Mine came from a desire to pick an Indy I hadn't seen getting used. The glasses look seemed to fit my usually reasoned posting style, even if I don't wear glasses myself.
I like Young Indy. And I'm kind of a Sean Patrick Flanery fan. Every once in a while I consider changing it to Marion because I am a girl, but Young Indy just seems to need a fan sometimes.

i thought mine was the one the least people had in the 100 posts section. When I got to 250 none of them seemed as good as mine that was still something nobody had. Same with 500 posts. I may only change when I can get Old Indy or the Grail Knight
I chose mine cause I really love the art work and it has a nice Indy feel to it, it reminds me of Raiders. There are two that I really want, the one I have now, and this one I really worked at getting, making sure what I posted was valid and not flooding the boards with simple posts so I could just get an avatar, I was SO excited when I was finally able to use this.
The second one I want is the one of Harrison Ford as Indy with the beard from the Young Indy episode. I love that picture of him on here. Not sure if I will ever get it, it's like what, 5000 posts? But slowly but surely I will try.
Just changed my avatar for the third time. And instead of going w/ Mutt as my name suggests, I went w/ Halfbreed (which is kind of along the same lines). Don't know how long he'll stick around. Time will tell...
