Meaning of this dream I had

I have been looking frantically on websites about what this dream meant and I kept getting mixed answers. The only reason I am SO fascinated by this dream is because it felt SO symbolic a dream I hadn't have in a long time! Anyway this is how it went:

I have sort of a crush on this girl in my psychology class and she appeared smiling at me and she held out to me a beaded necklace and said thank you for being a friend and kissed me on my right cheek.

What does this mean? I feel like it means something but I'm not 100% sure.

lol Ba Dum Psh (comic drum sounds)

I had a dream one time that my class was playing dodgeball, and it came down to me and this girl I had a huge crush on. So of course I let her hit me out.

Well about a week later, my class really did play dodgeball. And it actually came down to the two of us. So what did I do? I let her hit me out like in the dream.

And what happened because of it? She got embarrassed for me letting her win, and I got embarrassed by my class for letting her beat me. And the next round of dodgeball, the other team ganged up on me and eliminated me immediately.

The point of this story is dreams can give you welts from dodgeballs.
