So. My first playthrough of Dragon Age is complete. Human noble rogue, on a medium difficulty and if the time counter in the game is correct, I spent nearly 150 hours with the story.

That's... wow. Just wow. Can't even recall when was the last time it took me this long to finish a game. Maybe it was at the time of Diablo II? Eh, whatever. It was a blast, through and through. Easily the GOTY for me.

Now, I guess I'll have that final chapter of Tales of Monkey Island to check out, though I'm fairly certain I'll be back in Ferelden as well, sooner rather than later.

Let's not forget about the first non-teaser trailer for Halo: Reach!

Phoenix Wright arrived in the mail yesterday, I just finished the third chapter. So far, a very interesting game, but I don't know if it counts as an adventure game.

I should expecting Broken Swords on the PC to come by mail any day now. Thanks again to Finn for the recommendation.

I got your PM Agent Crab. But I can't respond because it says your inbox is full. BTW I think might get Phantasy Star Zero for the Nintendo DSi; if you have it perhaps we can play together online?

Sounds great! BTW I just came across this video on youtube.com. It seems as if one can download a "smaller, bite sized" Phantasy Star 0 experience straight to their Nintendo DSi.

I have been playing through the old Sonic the Hedgehog games. They are a lot harder than how I remember them.

I know, right? I usually find myself stuck in a section of the level or constantly hitting some lame spikes and losing my rings nowadays. Not to mention the boss battles. When I was a kid I remember breezing right through those games.

Not as easy as it used to be.

Yes, the amount of cheap deaths in these games is surprising. I can be running and jumping all smooth and BAM hit a spike or some enemy that's right in my path.
I bet I had to start over in Scrap Brain Zone seven times.

I just finished Phoenix Wright last night. I guess it can be considered an adventure game, albeit an unconventional one. The game doesn't really require any puzzle solving, and there is very little exploration. But trying to find contradictions in cross examinations, is a very time inducing experience that requires a great deal of thought. Overall, a great game, probably the second or third best DS game.

Broken Swords arrived by mail the other day; but unfortunately, it doesn't work on scummvm on my mac. Finn offered me a few solutions, but they seem a bit too complicated. Luckily the game works just fine on my PC, so I'll be playing it within a few weeks.

I finally finished Uncharted 2 the other night and it's easily my favorite game of the year. I'm already looking forward to playing through it again.

I will start playing Broken Swords next week, I wasn't able to because of some inconveniences in my schedule.

But for now, I'm playing Professor Layton on my DS, It's pretty good so far. But like Phoenix Wright, I'm having trouble figuring out whether or not the game can be classified as an "adventure game." My guess would be technically yes, but they are just so unique that it's hard to pinpoint a genre.

Say Finn, I don't if you're familiar with these two games, but if you are, can these two game be classified as adventure games?

I'm not, but some people seem to think they are, so I'm just going to roll with them.

*Sigh* Three more long weeks for Mass Effect 2...

Anybody ever play the Shining Force games on Sega Genesis? I bought that Sega Genesis collection for $15 for my 360 and it's fantastic. Over 40 Genesis games. I'll be busy for awhile.
