I am really excited for this upcoming game!
Its coming out October 26, 2010.
The game will take place about six months after the events of the first game, and a year before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope,The Force Unleashed II will be the "dark entry" in the series, and a more "personal" story for the game's protagonist than the first game.
Players will control the clone of Starkiller, Darth Vader's secret Apprentice and the protagonist killed in the first game. With a "fractured" memory and "haunted" by dreams of Juno Eclipes, Starkiller escapes from captivity on Kamino on a quest to understand his identity and to find Juno Eclipse. All the while, Darth Vader is hunting his reborn apprentice in an effort to make him become the ultimate Sith warrior.
Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope.

Amazing cinematics....again.....hope it's better than the last game which was very average, althougn I loved the story. Gameplay was clunky and repetetive.
I am a long time SW fan/geek and hoped for more from TFU.
Will deffo be giving this a shot, in the hope thats Lucasarts have not let us down and we are foolishly parted with our cash just because of our love of the franchise and the greed of those holding the franchise....yet again.
It's a real gripe that these games get made in the knowledge fans will flock to buy thee because of the movie fandom, yet the game is just a weak money spinner.
Take a moment to think how many movies, comics, TV and other media have been turned into games, then name how many were actually any good?
Goldeneye...Batman Arkum Asylum....umm....?
I don't want to be negative, but I am always skeptical of these games, though often succumbed to foolish fandom frivolity and wasted my cash on some pap games.
I really hope this story is as good and the gameplay is improved.
Shame there's not much in the scope of multiplayer but this will be forgiven easily if the game is a solid singleplayer.
Red Dead Redemption has set a new bar. Lucasarts and others need to raise their game...big time.
I don't think this game will be as good as the first one. It looks stressed. The storyline is so cheesy that it isn't even funny. I'm starting to think that George Lucas is doing worst than simply milking Star Wars; now he is just knock downing and dragging it out.
There was no reason to EVEN make a second The Force Unleashed game. It should have been a one shot just like Star Wars: Lethal Alliance on the PSP and Nintendo DS. Also, the new Star Wars The Old Republic Online isn't all that great either, instead it is simply a method of pulling money out of the pockets of Star Wars fans who think they need yet another Star Wars MMORPG and then there is the Star Wars The Clone Wars Adventures MMORPG, upon which I won't even get started. Sure the Clone Wars show is great, but an MMO of it?
When will George Lucas just focus on producing the live action Star Wars TV show and explain to us why there is not concept art for it or the new Seth Green animated Star Wars show?
Anyone else notice what the PS3 trophy for Holocron Hunter is in this game? It's Indy!! If you are able to get the trophy in this game, then take a look at it from your trophy screen on the XMB.
Do you have to buy the Ultimate Edition for PS3 to play the expanded levels or can you down load them like the first game? I loved the first one but playing the demo I think they have made the character way to powerful.

Well, the compiled edition of the 2nd game hasn't been released yet. If they release it, then it will probably be about a year from now. However, the DLC Endor level is a paltry 99 cents on the PSN!
Keep in mind that you don't need the Endor level to get the Indiana Jones Holocron Hunter trophy though.

Nah, Starkiller is where he should be for this kind of franchise and story. Actually, the biggest problem with the game is the short length and what some describe as a shoe horned story. Both are valid criticisms.

I think repetetive waves of easily defeated grunts, samey boss battles, too few locations and unimaginitive linear gamplay should be shoe horned in there too.
