20 year Celebration for The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles
It's 20 YEARS. Who's looking to celebrate!! It seem sad for this community to miss the opportunity in showing their love!
So, I thought of a creative way in which we can do this with our own (woefully, missed in the last round) Young Indiana Jones art cards.
Just fill in the space to show your Luuurve!
I'll get the ball rolling...
Plus, for those partake - a special gift to commemorate - A digital copy of The Chronicles of Young Indiana Jones Magazine. FREE (Delivered by PM - No expections. Talent not required!)

Here we are. I decided to do something a bit different. I wanted to sum up the series in the way I see it. The journal with Thoth on the cover always seems to be what's sticks in my head when it comes to the series, and ultimately you can see the series in two parts which I think is emulated in the old opening credits sequence. So this is my tribute to that.
Great thread.
My dream still lives on. How about that we made a one-time Skye conference chat for the 20th anniversary where we could discuss Young Indy, our impressions, inspirations, Young Indy music, our projects etc Come on guys
It would be recorded and uploaded as a special podcast episode
Well...my dream will never die.
20th anniversary starts with March 4, 1992 when pilot episode was aired.

Speaking of 1992, here's a sketch I did back in 1992 (with a thicker outline and modest splash of colour added, now in 2012, for this thread).

My Raven PM inbox is full so you can just e-mail it to me, Generous Junior.

Nice!
But that reminds me that I'm still dying to see what you (and your pro Photoshop skillz) could put together as covers for our imaginary "Vol 6" and "Vol 7" of the YIJC soundtracks.

I think of the journal, too. Love that you added Corey's helmet!

I'd be into a Skype conference. As a matter of fact, InexorableTash, Laird & myself are planning a Young Indy music special for the IndyCast. If the scheduling goes well, it may be ready for the beginning of March.
On March 4th, I'm going to upload the bookends for "Travels with Father" on YouTube.

Would love to do that but I still need to improve the one for "Volume 0"! That and which tracks would be on which volumes would need to be decided. If you've already done that, post it in the Soundtracks thread (or maybe you already have posted it).
Greetings from germany. Usually I'm just a quite reader, because my english isn't the best, but I really love the Idea to celebrate the birthday of young Indy in this kind of way and I wanted to contribute something.
I think I'm going to do much more at the weekend. I wanted to rewatch a few episodes anyway. =)

Welcome Damon! Nice entrance with some nice art. Would love to see more.
Great thread Junior! Happy 20th to my favorite online community! Without you guys, the winter of the lack of new Young Indy material would be much colder!!! Best regards!!
Pardon my ignorance, but how are people doing these? Do we print out the image from JuniorJones' original post and physically draw on that and then scan it, or what?

Apart from Damon & myself, it looks like that is what everyone else has done. (Damon probably used a tablet to draw directly on the computer and I had a scan of an old, b&w sketch that was added onto the card in Photoshop.)
