Anyone have a link to, or can post an image of a hi-resolution shot of the original prop? You know, this painting?:

Bro', I took a photo of the actual prop at the National Geographic exhibit and posted it in the National Geographic Adventure of Archaeology Exhibition thread. Here it is again for your viewing pleasure:

My original is MUCH larger. (2048 x 1536 @ 72 dpi. That's over 28 inches wide!). If you want it, I can send it to you.

There's also a straight-on photo in the "Lucasfilm Archives" book but I'd have to scan it. (Maybe Junior Jones already has!

"Straight-on" would be best, could you? I'm not happy with the canvas one I have, but I have my board(s) assembled for it. I would rather go for screen accuracy and have one printed on paper to glue directly to the wood, then use a matte finish over it, or do a mirror imaged print of it to transfer to the wood directly. in either case, the canvas ain't happenin', so if I'm going to reprint on paper, I'd like to use a better scan of it than what I have already.

Thanks for the links, PH. The level of detail that I'm looking for isn't there though. I can manipulate a little in photoshop, but I can't do much with shadows or glare.

Heck, I don't even know if what I'm looking for actually exists in digital form!

I have melded with the scanning process.

I simply look at the image, blink my eyes and transmute those thought to a destination on the internet!

Thanks TGK. First off, welcome to The Raven. Secondly that is a pretty great image, Unfortunately, my current one has better resolution at the correct size. Maybe I just want too much.
