here is my hat!! The pics do not give this hat justice by no means!!This hat is a vast improvement on any factory made hat, I'll never buy another "factory hat"!! The felt is much thicker than the felt my Akubra is made of. However, the felt is supple but not floppy, nor stiff...just that perfect blend!! As the pic of the lining shows, the emblem is embroidered, into the satin, not printed like most, and the sweatband is 1 3/4" wide as compared to 1 1/4" on the Akubra!!
My wife is taking more pics of me in the hat tomorrow hopefully in full Indy gear so we all can see how well this hat matches the gear!(everyone please be gentle) Bottom line is, at $197.00, $223.00 shipped to your door in the US, this hat is a great deal for a custom hat! I have already inquired into a grey LC from Diego and his reply was "no problem, we can do that!"
