Well, it doesn't say much, but it's vaguely postive... One has to give it that

I suppose

I agree CH. Things are still going forward with this film. No, there is not alot of news but we are at least still getting it.

Meanwhile at the Skywalker Ranch...

"Hey, Steve! In the volcano scene, when Jones throws this robo-legged bad guy off the cliff, which one sounds more fitting? 'Hasta la vista, baby' or 'Yippie-ki-yay motherf***er'?"
"Gaddamnit George! What's wrong with what Harry suggested?"
"I dunno, 'Great kid, don't get cocky' sounds just like something that's been used somewhere before."
"How about 'I am getting too old for this s*it'?"
"That's great! Now, to this phobia scene... you think it's easier for the props dept to get 1,000 hamsters or same amount of koalas?"
"Hmm... perhaps they could carve some out of potatoes at ILM?"

...they're honing it. Patience.

Once again the carrot is half-heartedly dangled, and once again the donkeys take a reluctant, tired step

I hate to be negative, but they've been "honing" it for far too long. The idea that another Indy movie will be made is more of a joke than anything else.

Thumbs up Lucas

Lucas seemed serious about Indy IV when he spoke at Sean Connery's AFI Award thing. I think Ford can still pull it off if they can get it done in the next few years. The action in Firewall, while not his best work, was pretty darn good.

I dunno, I don't like hearing the tired old statements of "Ford's fit for duty" and "We are still working on the script".Momentum on Indy 4 seems like it has already peaked, months ago. That's not how it usually works.

*LOL* superb, Finn!
Wich reminds me of a serious need. I just saw these Film Crew Shirts in the latest Empire magazine edition. You know, the ones were crews expressed their feelings about the director or project via a simple tshirt print. All that, and Finns great entry here again remind me that all we can do now, is make us a great line of T-Shirts. I really feel similar to a haunted or oppressed or tortured film crew.
I think we deserve a shirt. And I'm sure some of you guys could come up with good ideas for the print.
Anyway Finns entry is the only thing one can say in the current situation. All talk has been done. Nothing new will be said by us until anything new happens on the indyIV forefront.

I want my shirt. Share some ideas!

And besides: I want something else that I can dress in on the indyIV premiere beside the usual Fedora-bullwhip ensemble

Yes, this is unusual, but this will be an unusual movie. In a good way. I hope.

I saw the article yesterday, don't know quite what to think, but I was slightly stirred and happy by the mention of Sean Connery. I really hope he gets into the movie somehow, if the movie happens.

corporate identity (t-shirts) & indyIV news at this point

While I think it is really time to get a new Harrison Ford picture I wholeheartly agree with Devin's take on the latest indyIV nonnews. It is also underlining my opinion that everything has been said by us to the current degree of information.

however I wanna reaffirm my above stated demand for some t-shirts.

....c'mon I thought you had some ideas...

Come on, the 3-D effects of this are so revolutionary, it's tough to edit them together in post production.....
