Just wondering if anybody can actually see the Indiana Jones in the computer games as the same guy from the movies. For me, it's a bit difficult, even with the good graphics and fairly convincing voice in Emperor's Tomb.

Oddly, I always see two separate Indys-- One Indiana Jones found the Heart of The Dragon, then discovered Atlantis, and then found some kind of machine in Babylon. A DIFFERENT Indy found the Sankara Stones, the Ark and The Grail. In other words, I can see all the Indys from the games as being the same character, but when I watch the movies, I never think "Hey! That's the guy who's gonna need a jar of mayonaise and a shiprib while looking for Atlantis!"

So what about the rest of you? Or am I the only one lifeless enough to have given this any thought?

Only the one from the emperors tomb reminds me from the "real" indy. With the others, I have the same thing like you. I think it must be the graphics of ET that makes me think that.

I try to believe that they're the same person but it's hard.

I've only played the Demo for infernal machine, but I played the whole Et game.

It isn't that hard for me to imagine Indy doing most of the stuff he does in ET, aside from the last three chapters, which were kindof poorly done action-wise.

It's all Indy to Web. The books, the movies, the comics, the games.

The IM and ET Indy's are not the real deal...the FoA one, on the other hand, is. Wise-cracking, coming into contact with people, exotic locales...that's Indy.

You can't go wrong slipping one of those classic Indy one-liners into a conversation.

Yes, but the Kerner hair-flick can make people look at you funny...

Yes, she makes a point. Ditto for the Ubermann finger-twitch.
