Yeah, Lucas is greedy and careless. It looks like he gave up creativity for money years ago. I say Speilberg is the true genous behind Indiana Jones, he is one of the greatest directors ever!

Yes, Temple, I have a feeling we know each other in real life. That would be wierd, wouldn't it? Where do you live, love?

temple, dude... why are you dissing someone over an opinion about a MOVIE? There are bigger tragedies in the world than a sub-par Star Wars film, and you don't have to blow up over it. Yes, please do calm down. I do not condone some of the actions he has taken, but I'm not trying to figure out ways to make his life miserable. Just take it easy.

As I have said, now that I think about it, a few months or so may not be all that bad... it certainly isn't gonna kill me!

I do not think that Lucas should be condemed for the seemingly poor Episode I and II films. Perhaps George is not as much at fault as some of us think. I belive that if Episode I II and III were released before episodes IV, V, and VI the same thing would be occuring that is happening now. People would mock episode IV V VI because they were not carbon copys of the first three. If you go into a movie thinking that it will be the greatset thing you have ever seen you will more than likely be dissapointed. One of the main reasons that people liked the original star wars trilogy so much was because it was new and exciting! Perhaps the idea of Star Wars was just to overdone for the general populace. With all the predetermined Ideas we had of Episode I it is hard to belive that any ones wishes could be fuffiled. Maybe if you took a look at the new trilogy with no expectations in your mind you maybe better suited to agree that the movies were not all bad.

That's a very good point you have there- perhaps people's expectations were too high regarding episodes I and II.

By the way, welcome to the Raven, Caliber! Enjoy your stay. I hope you have as much fun as I'm having, and I know we'll be great friends!

Love, Kate

Thank you Kate for both the compliment and introduction. And while I'm at it thanks for offering your friendship. Lord knows I (if not everyone) could use more friends in this world

George Lucas is not the most horrible thing in the world. I think I like Spielbergs attitude better, but Lucas is not all bad. Lucas and Spielberg TOGETHER created the ideas for the three extrordinary Indy movies.
