For those here who think HF is too old 2B Indy!

Is Harrison Ford too old and decrepit to play Indy? The proof is in the picture... THIS ONE!

I don't think he's ready for a wheelchair QUITE yet...

Just don't think it will be the same. His face looks a lot older now. Just take a look at Hollywood Homicide....

I think HF will do just fine as Indy again. I'm not the least bit worried about his age.

Hey, so what? A year of working out, a few shots of collagen/Botox (and maybe of whiskey?) and he'll be good to go!

My point is, he is still in good shape to play Indy IMHO.

I think what they mean -- and I agree -- is that Mr. Ford is in excellent physical shape, sure, but from his neck up isn't looking like it did in 1989. But yes, I think he'll do fine as Jones again.

He looks great but he is still 61!

The body changes drastically each 5 years (especially after 25).

However, I think he could pull off a 45 to 50 year old Jones with the help of some CGI and great stuntmen!

I've heard those changes occur every 7 years, but I could be wrong. If that is true, then I've been through 4 of them and I'm just about to hit another! Everything is going to go South yet ANOTHER inch? Great. Next I'll need some kind of butt-bra.

Yes, I don't think Mr. Ford will be doing some of his own stunts like he used to. I remember he did one in TOD and hurt his back pretty bad. Stunt men are always in order for an Indy movie. Hopefully he won't try to do something stupid to prove he's still "got it" and hurt himself. I've heard from many sources that he can be pretty daring.

Technically speaking, HF is too old and I disagree with the concept that Indiana Jones shouldn't be a timeless adventure. I would rather they use hair dye to make Harrison look a lot more 30' ish. He'll do ok though.

LOL!

Harrison Ford is spotted looking at hair coloring at your local drug store franchise/conglomerate. He has one packages in each hand and you can read his lips:

"Hmm, which one? Depression Era Brown or Nazi Combat Boot Black?"

Since they are setting it around 15-20 years after LC I don't think it matters that Ford looks older. Also I'm sure he'll spend a few months in advance getting in shape so that he can get away with the physical parts of the role without looking ridiculous.

I concur. Not only is he in prime condition for his age, the movie's setting in time allows for several more years to pass.
