How did each of you come to hear about TRN? In other words how did you find this site and what made you want to stay? I'm sure this would be good info for Gilles...

As for me? I was researching for my books when I stumbled across it in a search engine. Google.com if I'm not mistaken. That was sometime ago. I have enjoyed returning ever since. Now, what about you?

"Ahem...A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

I owed money to some casino mob boss named Jabba...he's such a big worm!!! Anyway, after ducking and dodging him the last few months, I stumbled upon a portal that lead to a different timeline...1930s."

Well let's see...I was on TheForce.net and I saw a link button to Indy20.com so I said this sounds cool I've always liked Indiana Jones. So I went there and got really excited about the Indy films again. On the link page there I saw TheRaider.Net...well that sounded even cooler. I came to the main TRN page (I belive it was during the Halloween look...that was cool too).
I clicked on every link that was there...expect for the Raven. I thought it sounded too odd...but soon my curiosity got the better of me. I saw real fans talking about the one main thing they have in common, so I decided to join in the fun! I was known then as The Raider, I'm sure I confused alot of people. The about a month or so after I joined Gilles made a comment about Jawad & Paul almost never coming around any more, so I offered to help him. I changed my handle & the rest is history.

Wow I sure typed alot of words!

I was looking for Indy pictures and found The Raider...plus, Ameera told me how great it is here, so I decided to come and see for myself.

Well, I had only heard of indyfan, so I was looking around for another place (i.e. "Indiana Jones" at google), and lo and behold, I found TR.N. What made me stay? Well, besides the fact that it had the best layout of any site I'd seen, and everything I could hope for in an Indy site, this forum is great! Tons of great people to talk with! What more could I ask for?

I used to work with Gilles on the other site he had (I don't remember if it was named The Raider.net or not). I left to deal with personal problems and when I came back, Gilles told me about this site through one of our ICQ conversations and here I am.

Well, I was on a search for pictures from the movies that I could draw from. Indyfan was alright, but didn't have a lot of Screens, and less fan-art. So, I kept looking. I found this site (and it's hordes of pics ) and I fell in love. I made my way throught the links, and found the Raven, where I read the conversations for probably 3 months before I actually registered... I should've done it sooner!

I was on my first takeover to the IM, and I found out about TRN as a link from a site called infernalmachine.net. That site is long gone, but TheRaider´s alive!

Maybe I'm mixing it up with another site then.
Oh yeah!
indyjones.simplenet.com or something like that. After that one was gone I found this one. Or so I believe.

Sorry Finn, my mistake....

I came here by way of a link on Indyfan.com, and had already heard a lot about this place on the Indy-Web forum. I stayed because this site is the most complete and accurate Indiana Jones website on the net, and I feel very much at home.

How did I find this site?

Actually I was trying to look for the Oakland Raiders'web page when I stumbled across this.

No not really (though I am a Raider fan).

Actually I just typed "Indiana Jones" into Google one day and TRN was there.

When I found that the 'Raven' was visited by so many creative minded and intelligent people I decided to join in

(which is kind of odd since I'm rather stupid and dull).

Monk...

don't be so hard on yourself. You're not stupid... dull, maybe, but not stupid. A drag, sure. No sense of humor, either. Always working members up into frenzies. You talk too much and frankly, you also scare us. I think your a pervert and should never return.

As Kojak would say, "Who loves ya baby!"
