Did you see it? A quick search doesn't show much...does that mean it's not worth watching?

Rear Window was a film that really appealed to me even at a young age. The set was a revelation at the time, one of many fantastic plot devices.

I only knew Raymond Burr from Iron Side which was an interesting way to first see the film. What can you say about Grace Kelly that hasn't been said already? She was a helpless, vapid, spoiled gossip who eventually puts her money where her mouth is.

Have to dig this up and watch again...

Let's pick a flick and go for it. I think this is a great opportunity for checking out new (or should I say new to you) movies.

Why not honor the film the thread began with: Rear Window?

Well, I was a prior fan of Krause and Schiff, which is why I saw it, coupled with the Rear Window connection. Nothing all that fascinating though, no.

How available is it to folks? I could scrounge up a copy easily enough. Otherwise, I've got some inclination to go with Pale's Netflix suggestion.

Rear Window was the first Hitchcock film I saw and my second favorite next to North by Northwest. Grace Kelly is beautiful and Jimmy Stewart as dependable as always.

It truly is a suspenseful film, coming after a rather relaxed and humorous first act. Now I'm not sure where this thread's stance on spoilers still is, but
the scene in which Kelly's character enters the murderer's apartment is particularly terrifying. But for me, the moment of suspense for me is when Stewart calls the killer's phone, leading us up to the finale on the window ledge.
Hitch was truly a master of his craft.
