In a search for an advanture

In january 2006 I have a chance to go to Athens for two weeks with my college. It is some seminar kinda thing. But I do not realy plan to stay in the classroom all day long while I am there. So do you have some idea for advanture that I could be a part of while I am there.
I mean is there some Indy-style advanture that crosses your mind that has something to do with Athens.

I was there in Dec of '03.

Approximately 14 km. N of Athens, there are ruins of Elufsis, and the entrance to Hades is supposedly there.

Delphi, several hours North of Athens is one of the most spectacular places you can go if you want to take a cab into the mountains. There is a theater, a huge temple, a stadium (I actually ran around the stadium, and was breathing hard, the altitude is such). It's also the basis of an Indiana Jones book.

Cape Sounion is a great place as South as you can go in Greece. Maybe an hour or something south of Athens. Has Temple of Poseidion, and if you're there in Jan, (As I was there in Dec) the wind just might blow you off of the steep, steep, steep incline leading to the sea, next to the temple, and then you have a real Indiana Jones style adventure.

Thanks for the tips. I was at Delphi and at Cape Sounion already. It was with my highschool class. But I do not mind going to these locations again.
About the entrance to Hades I am preaty certain that it is at the west coast of Italy. I saw some documentary that showed some movie footage of that place. And I have to say if I was there at the time of acient Grece I would also believe that it WAS hell.

Possibly there is another there, but there is most definately another at elufsis. Also, a supposed Mithraem. Also a museum with some interesting artifacts. And it is close to Athens.

Have you been to Corinth, and the canal?

I was at Corinth canal. On that one trip I was also in Olimpia and Meteory monastry. I suffer from vertigo and just climbing the Meteory was quite an advanture.
I wonder if there is some book or comic about Indy and Meteory.
