Chicago Mayor Richard M Daley dressed like Indiana Jones on Halloween

Intentional or not on Halloween I think the way the mayor is dressed looks a lot like Indiana Jones, especially the fedora. He actually wears that fedora fairly often year round. Interestingly enough Mayor Daley is the same age as Harrison Ford, both are 68 years old and were born in Chicago in 1942 (April 24th and July 13th respectively).

I think it's kind of cool. Maybe he's too shy to go all out. It looks pretty classy IMO.

It would be interesting to know if Mayor Daley is enough of an Indy fan that he is aware of the University of Chicago connection. If they shoot Indy5 next year he might be able to convince the producers to shoot the college scenes at the University of Chicago, it would be one of his final acts before he retires in May.
