Infernal Machine working on modern machines

Hmm, I wonder if I can get my Infernal Machine copy working on my Macbook Pro on its 20GB Windows XP Bootcamp partition I made a while back...

General Indy 5 Thread - rumors and possibilities

They were trying NOT to be over-the-top with KOTCS? Well, in my opinion, they failed at that... For me, it was completely absurd. And I'm afraid that if they make another one, it will be even more absurd. And the world will descend into further madness.

    What's so wrong with aliens?

Please, god, no. The aliens just didn't flow well with the rest of the films. I pretty much agree with Rocket Surgeon as to why. They could have done it in a different way and perhaps it would have worked.

    Trilogy on Blu-Ray

The CGI added-in bits looked really out of place in the original SW trilogy. I wish Lucas had just left it alone. Although, I do like that Jabba replaced that big white dude in New Hope. I just wish it didn't look so fake. Jabba in Return of the Jedi looks better than digital Jabba, or the Hutts...

General Indy 5 Thread - rumors and possibilities

Yes, I know. But the other movies just worked so much better than KOTCS. The aliens just didn't fit right... Maybe it was because they were not "of this earth?" God or Shiva we're all familiar with, but aliens we are not. Atleast not in the Indy universe.

General Indy 5 Thread - rumors and possibilities

Something I just thought of... I think for Indy 5 to be successful, if they make it, it will need to be more simplified. I felt that KOTCS was too complex (having the aliens being "interdimensional beings" and all that was involved with that). Raiders of the Lost Ark? The Ark. Temple of Doom...

    Trilogy on Blu-Ray

Totally agreed. Please Spielberg and Lucas, stop fudging up our classics!

    Indy 5 Title Font

I voted Same ol', but I wouldn't be against something new, considering KOTCS was a good bit different than the original trilogy, so I'm sure that Indy 5 will be different as well. Lucas and Spielberg need to re-define the series, as they've already proved they're not trying to make them like the...

    Trilogy on Blu-Ray

Montana Smith- I feel the same way. My bookcase full of DVDs is my pride and joy. People come over and can't help but stand there and check them all out. Such a conversation starter. Darth Vile- I only wish I had thousands to spend on a home theatre system. You must have quite the job...

General Indy 5 Thread - rumors and possibilities

Yep, I am free to express MY opinion. You may feel it's "a pile of utter tosh," but that's your right to feel that way. Anyway, Montana Smith pretty much said what I wanted to say. TO BE MORE SPECIFIC, Lucas/Spielberg have lost touch with what made the originals so great. I narrowed it down to...

    Flannery as Indy

Okay so after watching some more episodes and now that I'm nearing the end of Volume III, I have seen the prosthetic scar some more. It's not near as noticeable as Harrison's, though.

Should an Indy movie ever venture further into horror?

I agree with you, Rocket Surgeon... Good way to put it. I also would like to add the corniness of parts. For me, it was on par with the corniness of the new Star Wars trilogy. Lucas has just lost his touch.

    Trilogy on Blu-Ray

Forget Blu-Ray. I'm tired of how fast the formats are changing these days (seems like just yesterday DVD became the standard). So I refuse to buy Blu-Rays. DVDs are cheaper and really I can't tell much of a difference. My entire movie collection (an entire bookcase) is all DVD. Took my years to...
