Can't wait for Game 1...Saturday won't come soon enough!

I'm just glad there isn't a game tomorrow night. Deciding between the Pens and Indy is a decision I'm not ready to make yet.

And I agreee, roundshort...I hope this series will be healthy for the NHL. Maybe not Games 1 and 2 (since they're only on Versus...how many people actually have that channel? Glad we do...), but the rest of the series on NBC should attract viewers.

Totally, I didn't even know I had vs. until the playoff started! I am a little worried about the Wings with home ice advantage. Both games the Pens lost were on Home ice, so . . . Could be scary if we fall behind, to see how the youngsters react. They seem like a pretty grounded crew. I was happy to see they way they reacted by beating Philly in a respectful way.

I hope Malone is the hero, good to see a hometown boy kicking ass. I love that all 4 of our lines can compete. Hopefully we can wear down the wings. I also worry about our passing vs. such a skilled passing team. Osgood (sp) is a beast, but MAF is playing goalie like a man possed right now!

WINGS ALL THE WAY Tell you the truth I don't think pittsburgh has played a team like Detroit yet. Gonna be a wake up call for the Penguins. If the Peguins go down two games to none the series is over.

I am not sure the Red Wings have played a team like the Pens yet!

The 4 most complete lines in the NHL, on young fresh legs!

How bout the Wings? 4-0 in game 1 against the mighty Penguins? I must be dreaming or in heaven so I?ll take in heaven! What a game 1 finish for the Wings and an incredible night for a Mr. Michael Samuelson! Two huge goals and of course Ozzy as solid as ever in goal! SHUTOUT! The wings scared me in the first watching them take four consecutive penalties. I was biting my nails but after seening the penalty kill and a shorthanded goal, there was nothing to panic about. The wings completely showed amazing puck possesion and the physical of Detroit was deffinetly evident at the Joe tonight thanks to Kronwall or as I like to say Kronpow! The hitting was hard, the passing was perfect, the special teams were spectacular and the goaltending was fanominal! Great effort and game from our Wings and look forward to seeing more ?dominational? play in game 2 on Monday! GO WINGS GO!

It was painful, now I know what OHIO fans feel EVERYTIME (esp. the Browns) their football teams play the Steelers. Well, we will see how the youngsters adjust. But after Game 1, not looking to good.

Up Two to Zip!

Incredible game for the Wings another shut-out for Ozzy and the scoring for Detroit just keeps getting better and doesn’t seem to cease fire at all! What else can you say about the special teams of the Wings but simply spectacular! The penalty kill was there tonight and how bout the Wings defense? They completely shut down the Penguins scoring lines including wiping out any chances for Sidney Crosby or Yevgenni Malkinin. All Detroit these two games and I’m telling you the the Wings are the best team in this final and the NHL they are relentless right now and I can tell you this I don’t believe Pittsburgh deserves to win the Cup especially when your players need to punch, whack, trip or hit another team’s goalie. Disgusting by the Penguins and I can guarantee you this look for Kronwall to level Roberts in game 3. His hit is coming and Pittsburgh if they keep that mickey mouse crap up, will just end up digging their own grave. Great game by the Wings, they were focused didn’t panic and proved they are the number one seed! Dominational tonight, plain and simple! Look forward to watching the Wings dominate game 3 this Wednesday! GO WINGS GO!

Wasn't abel to see the game, and byt he outcome, glad I didn't. It seems watching the Pens play the Wings is like watching Ohio State play ANYONE in the big game, just bad!
