Why in the movie Raiders of the Lost Ark, in the scene where Indy is teaching the college students does the girl have "Love You" painted on her eye lids?
Also, what college/university is he teaching at?

Oh how I wished my high school U.S. History professor looked like Harrison Ford.

I love it how Indy is kind of surprised/unsettled by the EYE love you.

The establishing shot is the Faye Spanos Concert Hall at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. (It's on Pacific Avenue, where Lucas possibly cruised when he wasn't cruising in Modesto.) I grew up 2 blocks away. Whether some or all of the interior shots were done here, I really ought to know but don't.

Marshall College today

Last week I had to drive to Sacramento. I remembered reading that a building at the University of the Pacific in Stockton was used as the establishing shot for Barnett College in RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, so I thought I'd stop by and take a picture. (Visiting film/TV locations is a hobby of mine anyway.)

Here's a screencap of the building in the film and a picture I took for comparison. As you can see, it looks pretty much the same today, except for a few new additions, probably a more recent coat of paint, and less trees. But it otherwise stills looks the same, though I was surprised by how small it looked in person.

Standing there looking at it (I plan to return to get a better picture that more closely resembles the angle used in the film), I could just hear "Neo, meaning 'new,' and lithic..." in my head. LOL!!

Interesting, cool pics. Only... the college in Raiders wasn't Barnett, but Marshall, the same one we'll see again in the fourth installment.

I thought it was Barnett in RAIDERS, then Marshall was in THE LAST CRUSADE. TheRaider.net even calls it Barnett College under the filming locations for RAIDERS.

Then in this rare case, TR.N has an error in its volatile DB of information.

Give it few hours, quite a few of these respectable users on this board can confirm that what I tell you is indeed how it should be (should you choose to believe them, of course).

It's Marshall in Raiders and KotCS and Barnett in LC and the computer games. Can't remember if ToD was Marshall or Princeton.

I don't think they even mention the name in TEMPLE OF DOOM, do they? I just remember Indy saying, "I'm a professor. I have to get back to my university."
